Very disappointing especially not being able to go out with our granddaughter due to stairs

Not a lot really- would not stay here again

Well where do I start- we were on the 5th floor- wasn’t told about the many stairs we had to go up and as elderly people at times we actually stayed in the apartment as we couldn’t manage the stairs all the time which impacted our stay with our granddaughter. The apartment also was not very clean- we had to actually clean it ourselves on the description it never stated no lift. Plumbing also diabolical as we had the tenant upstairs knock on our door late at night telling us water was coming through ceiling which we were informed that you knew about it.

Stylish, comfortable and a great value!

Super easy. Door code to get through the main door then a lockbox right next to the apartment door.

The apartment had everything we needed - from laundry soap and drying rack (thank goodness for the washing machine!) and the kitchen was stocked for what we needed. There was always plenty of street parking right in front. The apartment we stayed in was one floor up some stairs. The apartment is beautifully decorated.

Ok but many things to improve

Good location and decent facilities

No instructions for sofa bed, no cover on the duvet for sofa bed, no sheet for sofa bed. Sofa bed had to be hoovered to pick up all the dirt and crumbs before being slept on. 4 adults staying but only enough towels for 2. Strong smell of sewage in the en-suite bathroom.

Disappointed

Comfortable and mostly clean

Had to pull out big clump of hair from drain to allow shower water to drain properly. TV did not work - picture permanently pixelated. Only 1 large towel provided for 2 people. Requested help for last 2 points above but none provided. We will not return!

Great place - would definitely recommend.

Great apartment in a lovely period building. Plenty of room for two. Couple of little corner shops close by and centre of town is just a 10-15 min walk away. Details for key retrieval didn't come through, one quick call to the property managers and they promptly sorted it - very polite and nice to deal with.

Sofa looks nice but I prefer something I can relax into. Bed was okay but for 'superb' rating I'd be looking for a better mattress (noting I am a mattress diva, I think you should be when paying decent prices for accom).

I was hesitant about the area, but pleasantly surprised by the apartment and it was good value

The location was good for us as we were at an event in Offchurch rather than in the centre of Leamington Spa. It is not a lovely area, but the building itself is an attractive townhouse. The main sitting room and kitchen in the apartment is very clean, and the two bedrooms have large and comfortable beds.

There was no hot water in the morning and the plug in the sink was stuck, and absolutely no contact until lunch time, which is after the checkout time. No response on calling the phone number, by text or by email. I'm not sure what would have happened if we were locked out or something. No apology or acknowledgement for the delay in response or lack of hot water. The carpet in the communal stairs area let the property down, and it would be better to have hard floor in the bedrooms as the carpet does not feel clean. The bathroom ceiling and paintwork has badly flaked from moisture and needs redecorating.

Access instructions were not clear. They implied that the flat entrance was to the rear of the building, but in fact it is at the front, down twelve steps. Confusing;y, the figure 1 is on the entrance door, not 1A as it should be. I had problems with the key box, but that was partially/principally my fault (arthritic hands).

A lovely stay in beautiful surroundings, close to everything.

Location was good.

Very uncomfortable sofa and chair. We weren't in much so it wasn't a problem and they are both sofa beds but really uncomfortable to sit on.

Good place but heating is an issue without appropriate communication

The heating arrangement was bad. One of The room heaters didn’t work . The bathroom hot water was sporadic and hardly any communication on how to get hot water

Satisfactory

I couldn't initially find the flat number within the paperwork or its location and my repeated calls to the phone number provided went straight to voicemail. I did not get into the flat until about an hour after my arrival.

There was a strong smell of damp in the shower area and the privacy curtain and rack over the front door fell to the ground which meant I spent a night with passers by being able to look directly into the bedroom. That said, it was fixed the following day once I reported it.

Really easy to collect the keys with easy to read step by step instructions and information is sent way before check in to ensure w everything goes smoothly. Host’s communication was next level, really reassuring. The size of the room was great and the kitchen was high spec, was fantastic. Good tea and coffee and handy usb cable options on plugs which came in handy. Chic decor. What also really helped was a lovely comfortable couch and kitchen amenities. Bed was very comfortable and clean.

There was dried mud on the door matt when I came in and pebbles on the floor so I couldn’t walk around barefoot or socks as I’d step on them. Also there was a very strong smell of drains through the bathroom / toilet area, it was very overwhelming. I think this is because I rented a basement studio flat. One of the lights wasn’t working near the dressing table so The light wasn’t great when I was getting ready.

Fabulous, comfortable, apartment with balcony short walk from station/town centre. Loved it.

The apartment is in a beautiful white building very close to the station and the town centre. It perfectly suited our grown up family of 5 down for the Commonwealth Games. The open plan livingroom, kitchen and dining area is lovely and very well equipped. It has huge windows out on to a balcony. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there were 2 stylish bathrooms with great showers. The owners very very helpful and responsive. There is a corner shop less than 100m away for provisions. Leamington was stunning.

Be Aware There Are No Lifts

The property is in a good location. Street-side parking available although our car was scratched during the night. Easy check-in/check-out process.

We were not aware the property had no lifts as we were allocated an apartment right at the top and had booked for our parents in their 70s having not seen them for nearly 3 years due to Covid. When we spoke to Cust Svc Mark, I was told we should have checked. I accept we were partially to blame but pointed out there was also no indication anywhere before booking that there were no lifts. More disappointed with the way I was spoken to than anything else.

Self catering. Easy access from railway station. Clean & bright (even in a basement flat!). Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen.
