The breakfasts were wonderful. We had a tub and a shower, my wife loves a tub. The view from our bedroom was awesome. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet.our hosts were friendly and helpful.

I would come back in a heartbeat!

It was lovely. Wonderful views of the town in the distance and of the ocean. The property is clean and beautifully decorated. The owners are warm and generous. The breakfasts for my two night stay was delicious. I was not feeling well my first evening and they brought me hot tea and snacks so I didn’t have to go out. The next day, when I felt awful in the day, they brought me soup, sandwich, and sweets. They couldn’t have been more thoughtful!

What a treat to start our holiday by staying in this lovely B&B. Diane & Kiernan are amazing and gracious hosts! The view from our room was beautiful, the food was delicious and the hosts so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful property with warm and gracious hosts.

Beautiful lounge for the use of guests. This included an outdoor patio, although it was too cold and windy to use. Delicious breakfasts with lots of choice for the main course which was cooked to order.

Simply the best

Look no farther. This is the place you should stay. It is absolutely one of the best B&Bs we have ever been in. Both Diane and Kieran could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They even gave us short rides to a dinner restaurant and to the beginning of a hike, which was quite nice given the light rain. The breakfast is better than what you can get at most fine restaurants, and there is a variety to choose. The rooms were totally comfortable, and the lounge was a place with such a spectacular view, we decided to spend an entire afternoon relaxing there. You can also get off at a rail station within a three minute walk of their home if you don’t take the rail one more stop into the town center. We strongly encourage you book at least two nights and we would’ve loved to have stayed three or more.!

Lovely rooms which are spotlessly clean and Diane and Kieran couldn't be more welcoming hosts! The views from the first floor living area/outdoor terrace and breakfast dining room are spectacular. Really excellent breakfast - fresh, high quality ingredients, cooked to order and enough to mean you can skip lunch!

This B & B was the very best I have stayed at . It was exceptional. The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. Fabulous twin room , spotlessly clean with great facilities, and beautiful view from the balcony The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. Couldn’t have asked for anything more .

I am sure other places are lovely to stay in Portrush, however I would recommend you look no further, this bed and Breakfast was the very best experience we have ever had in a bed and breakfast and our stay is something we will always remember with great fondness. If you are looking for a party, look elsewhere as this located is a quiet part of town, the bed and breakfast is so peaceful and relaxing, after a day out, sit on the deck for a relaxing drink. The hosts went above and beyond our expectations, a wonderful couple, very warm and kind. Our rooms were kept very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was Incredible! I opted for the creamy eggs and smoked salmon all of the mornings we were there.

I can not think of a single thing that would have made our stay there any better.

Our hosts were wonderful, they not only made us feel at home, but as friends too. The home is beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, close to the town centre and restaurants. Breakfast is included and was exceptional. I would highly recommend Hillrise and the hosts Diane and Kieran were wonderful.

Excellent Place to stay in Portrush!

The B&B has a wonderful view of the ocean and Portrush beach. Huge outside deck with chairs and tables. Easily walkable to shops and restaurants. Our hosts were friendly and the breakfasts were cooked to order and delicious with lots to choose from. Diann and Kieran were so helpful in assisting us with finding the address of family that lived in Portrush in the early 1900’s. It was a wonderful place to stay. Very updated and comfortable.

My partner and I stayed at Hillrise B&B recently for the first time and we were both very pleased with the entire experience. The owners were very friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived. They honestly couldn't have done enough for us. Breakfast was beautifully served both mornings. Rooms were spotless, beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend! 😊

Neither of us drive so the location was a bit awkward for us to get to as the train didn't stop at the Dhu Varren station like we expected it to.
