Merchant's House

Location V good. House beautifully decorated very thoughtful touches. Continental breakfast delicious. Host very welcoming

Was in one of the Attic rooms proved a bit difficult to get into bed under the slope of the roof. Hairdryer kindly provided but didn't stretch to the mirror. Just tiny little things overall very good.

Annie the host was absolutely brilliant, very kind and served a brilliant breakfast. She even let us in late at night after we had forgot our key

Merchant’s house is a beautifully renovated property, the place was designed to perfection and the room myself and 3 friends stayed was spacious, cosy and very comfortable. A perfection location to explore Derry city and a few minutes walk away from the busier streets meant a peaceful stay which was great.

The encounter we had when we arrived could have been friendlier. We got handed keys in an envelope and little information followed which was unusual and unlike other experiences I have had in boutique hotels.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Annie was fantastic: so warm, friendly, and welcoming, and she made sure I was comfortable and happy throughout my visit. The room was beautifully designed, extremely comfortable, and even stocked with my favourite brand of body cream and soap, which was such a lovely touch. The location is perfect for exploring Derry while still being tucked away on a very quiet street. The breakfast was delicious, and overall the whole experience felt thoughtful and relaxing from start to finish. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back.
