Only an overnight, but they let us in early to get changed for the funeral. Generally good hotel.

Convenient for Derry and Shantallow. Breakfast was superb. Rooms were comfortable and generally quiet.

Unfortunately there was construction happening at the hotel which you couldn’t help but hear. Car park could do with some work (potholes everywhere).

Welcoming staff easy to find and convenient parking

Owing to renovations no access to restaurant or bar food in the evening - also meant that the function room used for breakfast was a little tired and in need of a good clean (dusty mirror balls and beans). Understand that trying to maintain service whilst under going updates is very challenging.

The whole place needs a massive refurb. Paid a fair amount for this room and it was dirty, run down the carpets made me feel abit queasy. The tap wouldn’t turn on off because it’s that old and loose. Really needs a refurb and not clean

Faded gem awaiting refurbishment.

Excellent out of town position, friendly and efficient staff, lively pub on site. Our room was big with a small table and chairs, settee and armchair in addition to dressing table, tea and coffee facilities and river view. Powerful shower, fabulous choice and well cooked breakfast.

Bathroom was rather tired and the sink plug did not work so we could not retain water in the sink. We learned on check out that new owners are about to refurbish the bedrooms soon.

Great stay, would recommend

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was much bigger than I thought it was going to be, bathroom was clean and modern. Beds were extremely comfortable and having a fridge in the room was an excellent bonus. The food and atmosphere in the bar/restaurant was also great.

Really love this hotel - a regular place to visit which never disappoints

Very friendly accommodating staff, nice sized room, lovely hotel inside, nice view of the Lough, breakfast included in room rate & the food & room service was very good. Also, was given a late checkout by an hour free of charge which was extremely appreciated.

From around 8am workmen were drilling, cutting down trees & generally making a serious amount of noise in the car park which did disturb my rest.

Cosy hotel

The hotel was lovely and the staff was too. I asked for three twin rooms which the hotel emailed me to say that it was no problem which I really appreciate it. The hotel was homely and cosy, we ate lunch and dinner there and there was no complaints. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay!

We had a very comfortable stay in Da'vincis. Room was nice, the beds were comfy and good shower room. We were happy with our breakfast too. Staff were welcoming and helpful. A 15 min walk or short taxi ride into town (£5/£6)

Very welcoming & fabulous food.

Good location for free parking on site, reliable to get taxi o to & out of the city that were £5 each way. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The staff are all very hardworking & welcoming. The dinner menu was stunning & the breakfast is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The cost of their alcohol is great £5 a pint.

The bedrooms are a little outdated, particularly the bathrooms. Other than that fabulous.

Good hotel. Lovely bar and restaurant area. There is a beautiful 20 minute walk into town along the boardwalk. Would be a fantastic hotel with just a small bit of upgrade and modernizing. The rooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable. We would definitely come back on our next trip.

This is a 2 star hotel charging 4 star prices. Find somewhere else to stay there is nothing to recommend this hotel

There is nothing to like about this property. It’s situated within an industrial park, next to a building site. It’s desperately in need of an upgrade. The corridors have a horrible smell and while the room was clean, the furniture was old and stained. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable.

Definatley not a 4 star hotel.

The staff were accomodating professional and approachable.

The rooms/hotel definatley did not feel 4 star, carpets and bathrooms could do with a serious upgrade. The breakfast hot plates were not turned on or they were faulty and as a result everyting in them was stone cold. I highlighted the issue to staff and they subsequently removed all the food and cooked remaining breakfast's fresh.

If you want a bit of life its a good Hotel but not for a quite solo traveler

The Staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. Its situated along a nice pier walk. The bar and hotel have a lot of life in them so very good for groups and stags, and hens I would imagine. Its very central too with lots of takeaways close by

Although I had asked for a quite room it was above an open back yard. My window looked out at a yard full of bottle bins where staff came out to smoke cigarettes and leave rubbish. I can deal with that its not the end of the world, but every time they opened the doors to go in and out they let it bang and this went on well into the night and early in the morning around 7am they started going in and out again and doing the bottles. So very noisy. Maybe consider getting rid of this room. I did voice my concern with receptionist next day and I did feel I was listened to but I didn't want to make a big fuss either. It is what it is

Friendly staff and great bar!

The bar at the hotel was really good, we didn’t eat there but the drinks were fairly priced and nice atmosphere. The lady on the main reception (I can’t remember her name) was so friendly and welcoming and really informative! There is a nice walk along the quayside into the city which is really lovely!

The rooms were a bit tired and the same with the bathrooms. Also the breakfast wasn’t the best either. However it is a cheap rate. Might be worth considering doing room only.
