This property is in an amazing location, right in the middle of the old town. It is very spacious, over 4 levels. It is beautifully presented. It has all the facilities you could need. Be advised that the alert that there are a lot of stairs, very steep stairs, is correct.

Location right in the center of the old town was very convenient for sightseeing, restaurants etc. Right next to a nice square with a bunch of restaurants and close to a number of small supermarkets.

Will preface my comments by stating that, as we were travelling as a family (Mum, Dad, twin 10 year old's and 75 year old grandma) that I perhaps simply booked the wrong type of accommodation for our needs and perhaps this is simply what I should have expected from an apartment in the old town of Bordeaux. We arrived in the middle of an August heatwave where temperatures were hitting 38-39 degrees daily. The apartment is not air conditioned. Including ground level there is 5 floors but ground floor is just garage and laundry. Steps to each floor are fairly narrow and steep. Because of the heat and lack of AC the bedrooms on the upper 2 floors were pretty much unusable, even though we were provided with regular electric fans, for the children or grandma during our stay and we had to crowd and sleep together on the lower floors. Apartment is on the darker side in many rooms and needs lights on. Is in need of some general maintenance and repairs which I reported to the landlord. Couch in the living room had a front wobbly leg and I was worried about it breaking under one of us, oven was missing a front door handle and cover, shower head holder in main shower did not hold the shower head properly, shower in bathtub in main bedroom tended to spray water all over the place if you weren't super careful, tap handle in master bathroom has broken off, handrail on steps from ground to first floor was detached from wall in 3 places and felt a little unsafe with young kids and grandma.
