The property is lovely and in an excellent location.

Communication with the company that runs the property was terrible. I placed a phone call and a text message both of which were never returned. We were only given access instructions at the last minute when I requested them. And the negative that it took three separate codes to access the apartment added unnecessary stress to a vacation.

Amazing location. The balcony view of the courtyard was magical.

We were there during a heat wave, unfortunately. The bedroom was not cooled well by the AC, which had a limit to how low the temperature could be set. It required us to request use of a fan, and we were given access promptly. Nonetheless, the bedroom remained uncomfortably warm. We had to return the fan during the day. It would have been nice to have been compensated in some fashion (free breakfast; reduced nightly charge), but we were simply messaged that the heat wave was not typical of the area. We also stayed during a country-wide music festival with the square, which the apt fronts, a crazy loud hub of dancing, drinking, and live music until early morning hours. It was not possible to sleep until it was over. Be sure to check that you will not be disturbed by any festivals. It would have been nice if the owners had warned us of this annual tradition, but I guess ultimately we should have done more research. We would have chosen a different location to stay for 2 nights in Bordeaux.
