Location was fabulous: central to lots of shops and restaurants, with an excellent view of the plaza, yet quiet when it needed to be. Tram is just a short walk away. Rooms were very comfortable and well appointed.
The only issue we had was getting our luggage up three floors of stairs without an elevator or dumbwaiter. Our luggage wasn't particularly heavy, but we are not young (all over 60 years) so this was a bit of a challenge. Added to the complication was a notice to be very careful with the stairs, which are classified as historic.

Location and cleanliness. Absolutely amazing experience. Host was responsive to all our questions and very nice and helpful. The best surprise was having a cleaning crew that made the beds and cleaned the apartment daily. Truly a luxury experience for an apartment.

Great location; stylish decor. Prompt responses to questions.
We were there during a heat wave, unfortunately. The bedroom was not cooled well by the AC, which had a limit to how low the temperature could be set. It required us to request use of a fan, and we were given access promptly. Nonetheless, the bedroom remained uncomfortably warm. We had to return the fan during the day. It would have been nice to have been compensated in some fashion (free breakfast; reduced nightly charge), but we were simply messaged that the heat wave was not typical of the area.
We also stayed during a country-wide music festival with the square, which the apt fronts, a crazy loud hub of dancing, drinking, and live music until early morning hours. It was not possible to sleep until it was over. Be sure to check that you will not be disturbed by any festivals. It would have been nice if the owners had warned us of this annual tradition, but I guess ultimately we should have done more research. We would have chosen a different location to stay for 2 nights in Bordeaux.
