A wonderful experience for a first time Bali visitor.

For a first time traveller to Bali, this place was beyond wonderful. The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

My shower head was broken off the wall but it didn’t bother me. I just don’t want other visitors to complain about it.

Location was great. The pool area and porch area were very nice. Bed was fine.

The bathroom needs to be updated. 1/3 bathroom door has calcium deposit. The hook for the shower handle is corroded so couldn't have the shower handle act as shower head.

The jungle garden and pool were beautiful, location was good but I think you need to be young/fit to walk to the centre as it does take about 20minutes. There was also one worker there named Mashul who was very kind and friendly. Nice food places near by also

Unfortunately our stay here wasn’t very pleasant. The day we arrived there was a strong smell from the bathroom area, like dirty drains? This cleared in the morning but came back for the rest of our stay. The menu advertises lunch and dinner, but when we requested dinner they said they only do breakfast.. When we arrived we were escorted to our room and tried connecting to the wifi, however we couldn’t but no one let us know the was an outage we had to ask, so we had no wifi for 2.5 days of our stay. The staff were inattentive almost hard to find when needed - however once approached were very friendly. There was no bin in our room only in the bathroom? And there is a sauna advertised but we were told it has not been working for 2 years..

Nice and quiet place

It is a nice and calm hotel in contrast to the busyness of Uluwatu (be prepared for a lot of tourists). We left early in the morning to explore some beaches and enjoyed the pool in the afternoon. Another plus of the location is that you can easily get to the famous Uluwatu temple.

The room was O.K. but the bathroom could have been cleaner. Additionally, the food was not bad but the options were limited.

The gardens were absolutely beautiful. Such a quiet and relaxing villa. Staff were lovely and everything was wonderful. Rooms extremely clean and very comfortable. Easy walk to beach

It was an amazing stay!

We were greeted by friendly staff who brought us orange juice upon arrival. The room was clean. The location was great. We were able to reach the temple & beaches within 10 to 15 minutes with a gojek!

I really liked the whole facility. The pool is beautiful and all the staff was very friendly

In my room I had dampness on the wall and maybe the bathroom is not so comfortable as the shower has no floor separation. Once I tried to eat and they told me they had no more ingredients. The location was good to go to the temple but it is a bit far from the restaurants and coffes

Didn’t have breakfast, we have to shorten our stay there and checkout after one bad night. At least they let us check out and refund the remaining 2 nights.

The whole room is so filthy especially the bathroom! It’s full of moulds! There’re cockroaches and stains… nothing is up to standard and definitely not worth the price!

Pool was very nice. Gardens were beautiful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Bar and kitchen were never staffed by people! Also, when Bali had a blackout for several hours - no assistance given by staff (no candles or battery-operated lights. No generator at the villa)

It is my place of choice when I’m in Uluwatu

If you ride a scooter it is only 5 min ride to Uluwatu cafes & shops. Lovely gardens, great pool, but the main thing I love about UJV is that it’s quiet

There of often power outages but they fix it within a few minutes. Internet falls over bc of this too but it’s only short lived

Very cute accommodation, and perfectly situated if you're looking for somewhere quiet in Uluwatu

Jungle Villas was the perfect little location and perfect accommodation to cater our need. With a very nice pool, facilities and staff to match. It's located very close to a few coffee shops and a really nice Mexican restaurant and easily accessible to plenty of other places, activities and some of the best beaches in Uluwatu.

IN THIS ROOM STORAGE, THEY REPLACE 2 BOTTLES OF WATER, WHICH THEY REPLACE. SO THAT'S WHY I TOOK ONE FROM THE FRIDGE THAT WAS RIGHTLY MINE AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT. AND IN ADDITION TO CHARGING, WHEN I WENT TO PAY FOR THE EXTRA SERVICES, THEY CHARGED ME A HUGE FEE TO PAY BY CARD, WHILE SINCE THE BEGINNING THEY HAD NEVER CHARGED ME A CARD FEE, ONLY THIS ASSISTANT WHO CHARGED ME AND WHEN I TRY TO COMMUNICATE WITH HER IF YOU WANT HE ANSWERED ME AND WAS LAUGHING IN MY FACE. Aside from the cats that stay there drinking water from the pool, contaminating it. POOL WAS DIRTY AND UNTREATED. HORRIBLE

Lovely stay, would recommend.

This is a perfect place to stay when wanting to visit the uluwatu temple only 5 mins on a scooter. We loved the pool and the rooms were cleaned daily. There was a bad odour in the bathroom of our first room and once we brought the issue to the staffs attention they immediately moved us to a different room which we appreciate.

A little bit expensive considering it doesn’t include breakfast.

The outdoor area was gorgeous, esp the pool. And you were able to rent motorbikes directly on site from the property which was super convenient.

The rooms were very bare (not much decor), and the bathroom did not seem to have adequate ventilation- we had to change rooms when we first arrived due to a overwhelmingly strong smell from the bathroom.

Uluwatu Jungle Villa had a great location for seeing the sites around Uluwatu. Staying here was the last stop of my two weeks and Bali. The facilities were nice and clean with a lovely pool and lounge area, but the villa as a whole lacked the character and warmth of some of the smaller homestays I had booked with earlier in my trip. Uluwatu Jungle Villa is by all means a good stay, but I believe more authentic stays with helpful and kind families can be found for a lesser price.

Basic but good value for money

Pool was nice and quiet, very cheap per night, walking distance to beach etc and easy to get a grab! Cute little local boy from local shop came to join us by the pool!

Wifi was very poor, bathroom is extremely basic and staff rarely available and no one available in kitchen for lunch etc. Local chicken wakes you up at 6am every morning and a lot of cat crying in the evenings.
