Perfect location, peaceful and stunning air bnb

Petra is a peaceful little oasis, we had a wonderful 7 night stay. The location was superb just a ten minute walk to restaurants and cafes in the main strip. The cottage was clean and very comfortable with a great shower always hot. We were provided with a good choice of teas and coffees and refillable glass bottles of water when ever you needed it. The pool is clean and the area very pretty with sunbeds and sitting area for chats. The staff were great, very friendly and always willing to please. We had great conversations with them especially Made. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. It was wonderful.

A truly lovely stay thanks to the cosy room, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptionally kind staff.

The room was super cosy, clean, and bright, and the location was very convenient. 😊 What I loved the most about our stay, though, was the kindness of the staff. Made was especially wonderful, always smiling and ready to help, but all the staff members were genuinely friendly and welcoming. They even arranged a manicure for me within one hour. 😍 The pool area was beautiful, with a great vibe, and the overall quality of the place was excellent. Whenever we needed something, they were always happy to help and made us feel truly taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Beautiful, modern propery. Central location.

Petra Bianca is just a 10-minute walk to central Uluwatu and Thomas Beach. The property is beautiful - you can tell a lot of thought went into all of the details from the rooms, to the private patios, to the pool area. The bathroom was nice and spacious and this was the most comfortable bed we slept in on our 2-week trip.

It's an area under fast development, and there is a lot of construction around. The road from Petra Bianca to central Uluwatu isn't paved (yet) and is a little bit steep (but walkable). I wish breakfast had been more accessible. There is a small cabana space near the pool, where one of the amazing staff members makes breakfast to order (there were two options), but it took a very long time and we ended up walking to the local cafes for our other morning meals.

Peaceful Petra Bianca

The room size was spacious, love the high ceilings. It's very newly built and love the design. Love the blackout curtains and love the privacy. Bed super comfy! Very pleased you have that lovely big bathmat as tiles get very slippery. Switches by bed great too. Lovely kept gardens, so pretty and the pool was fabulous as well. Nice to cool off and then lie on the lovely loungers. Loved the quietness of being here, not in hustle and bustle, yet an 8min scooter ride. Can hire scooters at this place which is very handy and useful (for a fee). You can walk to food in 10mins if you want to. Bit of a hill, but not hard at all. Would definitely stay here again. Xx

Peaceful and very Bali

We had a beautiful stay at this accommodation close to the center of Uluwatu. It was peaceful and surrounded by nature, with a stunning hammock and dining area nestled among lush trees. The swimming pool was absolutely gorgeous — perfect for relaxing. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet still conveniently close to town. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene retreat in Uluwatu.

Not for the Bali trip regular

The staff helped us when required, generally ensuring our needs were met.

This place has potential but the price was too high for what the hotel has to offer. The bed was very hard which was uncomfortable for our preferences. We could not sleep. The location is away from everything. Google maps says it’s in walking distance to Uluwatu, but the path is in the jungle and construction prevents you walking down there with ease. You do need a scooter/ car for road access. The gardens were not well tended too. Bali has such beautiful gardens but this garden could easily be improved with basic maintenance from a gardener. The one staff member would be sat waiting to do something in the main guest area, we felt it awkward. We negotiated a refund for our stay here, and we chose to checked out and moved hotels. It would be suitable for many travellers, but we spend a lot of time in Bali and know how excellent hotels/ service can be. This accomodation did not meet our standard/ expectations.

Beautiful but some issues need to be addressed for the price

The property was very beautiful. The villas are nice and the pool is glorious facing the forest and a beautiful statue water feature. It is very private and serene. The bed is extremely comfortable and I spent many hours in it with the flu. You get a welcome drink upon arrival. It has a nice tropical garden feel.

For the expensive price, I had several issues. For context, I was sick the first two days so I spent 90% of my time inside the villa. The AC was loud and didn’t work all that well even on 21 degrees. I sleep fine but I could see people who are sensitive to sounds struggling to sleep due to the fridge noise and the AC. I’m almost certain there was a bird living in the roof because I could hear it making noises and it sounded like it was inside. I saw multiple animal droppings, probably from a lizard, which is fine. Housekeeping cleaned it up. But the biggest issue was the smell coming from the bathroom. It smelled like poop from the moment you walked in. There is a diffuser type thing that they use to try to cover up the scent but it doesn’t work. Also it makes a little puff sound every few minutes, which I wasn’t aware of, and it scared me to death because I thought it was a snake hissing 😂 last, the location is a bit far from restaurants and attractions and the road to get there is awful so be aware that it’ll be a bumpy bike ride. The location doesn’t show up on Grab. I wouldn’t complain about these things but it was exceedingly more expensive than other pristine villas I’ve stayed at in Bali.

Great owner, very nice and helpful. The location is perfect – quiet, peaceful, and connected with jungle nature. We really enjoyed the natural surroundings 😉. Everything was clean and the service was very good. We had a great stay!

Not worth the price at all, uncomfortable to stay

Absolutely not worth the money. For 100$ you can get private villa or room in nice hotel with everything you need. I got bad room equipment with 1 dirty cup, no TV, very bad soundproof in room, very small room and very small surrounded area. The location is pretty private, but no reason of this privacy with such a bad soundproof and 3 more rooms in such a small area. By photos, reviews and price I thought it's 1br private villa, but it's 4 bedroom villa where each room sold as 1 room, so it's not a guesthouse coz of small space, nor a villa coz of lack of privacy. Very bad choice

Absolutely a little Gem in Ulu

I had an amazing stay at Pietra Bianca in Uluwatu! Perched on top of a hill, it offers such a peaceful atmosphere—away from the main road and busy areas, yet still super easy to access. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking to unwind in style. The property is beautifully designed—elegant, thoughtfully built, and full of charm. Every detail feels intentional, and the vibe is both relaxed and refined. The staff were always there when needed, incredibly kind and attentive. And a big shoutout to Virgile, the owner—so friendly and welcoming, which really made the whole experience feel extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back. Pietra Bianca is a true gem!

Ottimo per visitare uluwatu

La location è molto bella, piscina stupenda circondata dalle 4 camere e da una fitta vegetazione tenuta benissimo. C’è una pace infinita all’interno della struttura. Il personale è gentilissimo e ogni richiesta ha una soluzione pratica e veloce (scooter, transportation, colazione, pulizia camera ecc..). Vicino a tutte le zone di interesse ad uluwatu, ma serve un mezzo per spostarsi.

Il bagno ha odore di umidità, cosa decisamente non facile da risolvere, ma purtroppo l’odore c’è e stona con la qualità del posto. Il fuori del resort è molto wild, in una strada che nonostante sia vicino al centro di uluwatu sembra dispersa. Certo non è colpa del resort, ma anche questo stona con la piccola oasi che vi si presenta davanti quando aprite il portone.

La ubicación. No esta lejos de uluwatu centro pero el camino que lo conecta esta aun sin hacer asi que para ir en coche hay que dar una vuelta muy larga en moto es peligroso el camino sin asfaltar y andando se pasan por unos sitios muy raros que dan mala sensación La piscina y todo en general mucho mas pequeño de lo que parece en fotos solo hay 4 hamacas y no hay espacio para q esten juntas asi que no puedes tumbarte con tu acompañante
