Great value for money in a calm, well-located spot with kind service and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The guest house is very charming and well-maintained, with only a few rooms, which makes it peaceful and quiet. The staff member was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. It also has a nice pool and is located just one block from one of the main streets in Canggu, making it easy to walk to many cafés, restaurants, and shops. For the price and quality, it’s definitely a great value.

It’s not a luxury hotel, of course, but it’s still very comfortable and cozy, just something to keep in mind depending on your expectations.

Sheets were stained, tons up bugs, no fitted sheet just a wool blanket with human hair on it, also when I arrived the toilet was not clean

This accomodation is not worthy a penny! Pricewise it cost the same as much better accomodation in Canguu, Ubud or Nusa

Very dirty and mold smelled there all the time. Literally everything there was dirty, see attached pictures. Sheets were stained. The guy who was cleaning the accomodation initially gave us shower gel and shampoo which were apparently mixed with water! So probably they could save money. We had to asked him for a normal soap and shower gel. There were moskytos and he gave us a spray like the spray could solve it. We also had to ask for every cleaning - he did not clean or take rubbish out unless you asked him. We were horrified after the first night, we tried to find another accomodation, but it was NYE and everything was booked. Then we asked for sheets without stains specificaly and he gave us again stained sheets.

Great location and very cozy

Great location, great staff! Small villa with just a few rooms and a pool. You can walk to the single fin and other near places. Great value for money. And the room even has a small fridge!!

If you don't mind some little downsides - great option in Uluwatu area

The owner is very friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful and the location is very convenient - close to cafés, restaurants, shops and the beach. The local cat is a star. Bottled water is provided. Hot water in the shower takes some time, but works well.

The state of the room is kinda worn out. Even with some minor fixes it would feel better overall. The real disappointment was dirty bedding - the spots looked disgusting. It was obvious that it was washed, but at this point it just needs changing. Same thing with the towel.

It is very quiet and cute place to stay with great price. I think this place is steal because it is very close to main street that offer a lot of restaurants, shops and beaches.

It’s a good stay if you’re on a budget, but hopefully it should have been improved.

Property is close to the main road where there are lots of restaurants and also close to a convenience store. It also has dip pool to enjoy. You get what you pay for.

The room smells like mold and the CR smells like sewer. We had to open the door to let the smell out. The aircon is also not cold. Woke up sweating despite the lowest temperature. Toilet wasn’t clean but not sure if it’s really like that. Bed was kinda hard.

Would highly recommend for more value focused travellers.

Room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived late and the left the key in the room for me for easy check in.

I could hear some distant music playing on one of the nights from one of the clubs but it wasn’t too bad and would have had a similar problem anywhere nearby.

Happy stay

Quiet location, but only a 5-10 minute walk to Thomas beach and a couple of minutes walk from cafes, restaurants and shops. Large comfortable beds. Small fridge in the room. Friendly owner.

The pool wasn’t very clean. The water was changed the night we were there, but it wasn’t cleaned, so there was still lots of algae, which made it unappealing.

The service was excellent throughout my stay. What really stood out to me was the kindness and professionalism of the staff — everyone was so friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile, no matter the time. A special thank you to the reception team, who made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. Your hospitality made a big difference. Comfortable and in a good location

It’s in a great location for shops and restaurants plus Single Fin is a 10 minute walk away. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful.

The cleanliness was not to a good standard and this should be improved. The walls were marked with a brown colour like dried blood maybe and the paint was chipped which brings down the appearance. We got to the room and noticed there was only one towel for two of us and the towel was wet already which was strange so we had to ask for 2 new towels. There is also construction taking place directly behind the property but it didn’t disturb us too much as the noise was mainly during the day.

Very well located.

The place is in need of maintenance. Everything is quite old, there was mould in the bathroom, and stains on the bed linen and towels. There were even some ants on the bed. The room also had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Easy, great value for money, good location.

Check in was very easy and quick. The room was big and the shower was really good, good pressure and hot. A fridge in the room was a very pleasant addition.

Lighting was a bit dark in the room and a little bit of paint in the room and bathroom to freshen the place up would be a good idea. But nothing that would put me off coming back if I ever stayed in Ulu again.

Location was perfect and owners so lovely!

We loved the location of the guest house which is close to the main road. The owners were all lovely and very helpful. The water pressure was really good and water was hot.

Perfect for Uluwatu

Excellent place to stay in a great area of Uluwatu, with plenty of restaurants and bars at arms length, scooters for rent, pharmacies, beaches, etc. Yet the house is in a little peaceful street, so you can rest perfectly. The place is not super big but beautful and comfortable, and it’s going to help you relax for the best price in Uluwatu price.

I don’t think there is something I disliked :) I even got housekeeping service during my stay!

good value for money

The homestay is smaller than in the photos on Booking, but it is very cozy. The rooms are large, the shower has good water pressure, the air conditioning works well, and there is a minibar (rare in Indonesia!). The pool is small but good for a refreshing swim at the end of the day. It is about 150m from the main street of Ulluwatu where there are several restaurants and you can walk to Thomas Beach. There is no parking, but there is always a place in front to park.

Everything in this hostel was excellent. The service was super friendly. If you are looking for tranquility it is the right place. The rooms are very good and spacious. Perfect cleanliness. And the location is super close to everything !!!!

Perfect stay in Uluwatu.

Perfect location to explore Uluwatu. I'm not sure why there are bad reviews - the rooms are spacious, clean and the location is perfect. For the price you can't get better for Uluwatu, we could walk to the beach, cafe and shops! Super easy! The aircon worked very well! Added bonus of a super friendly cat on the property and the pool while small is clean and nice for a dip. Very quiet location and friendly host!
