Great location and friendly atmosphere

The hotel is very well located, right in the center and close to everything. They rent scooters directly at the property, which makes getting around very easy. The swimming pool is very nice and relaxing. The staff is extremely friendly, and the food is simple but tasty.

The hotel and rooms look a bit worn and could use some maintenance, but nothing serious enough to affect the overall experience. Overall, a pleasant stay.

AN AMAZING STAY

Absolutely amazing stay, British couple staying for 3 nights. Cannot fault them, everyone there is so kind and the food served at the pool is amazing as well as the pool itself. The rooms are perfect and made up for you everyday if wanted. It really is in my opinion the best place to stay in uluwatu especially for location and well priced motorbike hire at 90,000 IDR a day. Aircon was amazing.

Honestly cannot fault the place, I have nothing bad to say.

Value for money close walk to shops / restaurants / beach

Location was perfect easy walk 5/10 min or bike into the main parts for restaurants shop etc which was great and the pool area is amazing so peaceful and clean! Staff were amazing so helpful and friendly

The room itself was quite old and rustic don’t get me wrong it has character but we had the door closed at all times and somehow every night there was 20-40 mosquitos in the bathroom! We just bought spray and the second night we were prepared! Mattress was also pretty solid a mattress topper would be much appreciated but again I personally didn’t lose any sleep over it so all in all not bad!

Clean and comfortable

Really friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. We didn’t get to use the pool because of the weather but it’s a really nice space. Restaurant is great value and has great background music. Very cute kitten hanging around there too. Laundry service was great value 15k per kilo. Great location, walking distance to Thomas beach and good selection of local cafes/restaurants

I stayed one night and wouldn't stay longer. Needs a major overhaul

Location was very convenient. Pool was nice and clean, the area around it too. Breakfast was tasty. Grounda pretty and maintained

Rooms leave a lot to be desired. Dated and in a state of disrepair. Amenities in the room as extremely basic. Bed linen was partly missing and the one provided obviously dirty. Dirt everywhere in the room.

Stunning stay in Uluwatu

Incredible place just outside uluwatu town. Rooms were spacious, modern and comfortable with very comfy beds. Pool and restaurant area was beautiful. Hosts were super friendly and helped with scooter rental and laundry all for reasonable prices. Only 15 minute walk or 2 min scooter from main strip of bars and restaurants.

Comfortable and Nice

They had a little cafe on the property which we thought was amazing (we didn't try it though) that sat just beside the pool. The pool was amazing, having sunlight and lots of space around it. The actual place inside was very comfortable, plenty of space for your stuff.

The bathrooms were pretty tight and small, having a shower was virtually in the open, and everything would get wet. There was no benches in the bathroom either so couldn't put clothes in there.

Its close to the beach so approachability was high. Pool was bice and clean. They have pets in their property so if you like dogs and cats, you will be happy.

Please note that there are no telephones in the rooms, so if you have any doubts or requests, you’ll need to walk to the reception and ask. There are no kettles so if you wanna drink tea / coffee or simply warm water, you’ll have to step out and request for that in their restaurant. They dont even have lights in their pathways to the rooms so if you’re coming back to the hotel at night (be careful while walking, especially during the rains). Their sheets/blankets were also not smelling pleasant 🥲. For Indians like me, who are particular about the taste of their meals.. I wasn’t happy with that aspect also. Their meals didnt taste good.

Pool area beautiful but room slightly uncomfortable.

The pool area was absolutely gorgeous and we were able to order affordable food to our sun chairs. The location was great too, a walkable distance to a strip of shops.

we stayed for 5 nights and our room was never cleaned, so our towels and bed ended up getting a bit gross. There were lots of bugs, we had to kill several massive spiders in our room. But our biggest discomfort was the bathroom, which had the toilet positioned almost under the shower. Every time we showered it would soak the toilet.

You have the bare minimum in the villa but I was always out so wasn’t a problem for me. The hosts are really nice and helpfull. You have cute doggies around and they’re really friendly 🙂 Nice food for a good price

Good value for money, good location and friendly people

Very nice and friendly staff, nice pool, good on-site restaurant with good food. The location is great too as it's close to shops, restaurants, ATMs and clubs also not far (10 minutes on foot) from the cliffs for the sunset. They also helped me arrange surf lessons.

The dogs, well, not all, just had beef with one in particular. Some of the wifi access points were quite slow as well.

Property was super close to restaurants and shops nearby. Had a lovely clean outside pool and lounging area. Can order food which was super tasty and staff brought it out even if you were by the pool! All the staff were so amazing and friendly and extremely helpful. It is the perfect place for peace, quiet and relaxation.

The room itself was a bit outdated, but came with amenities such as soap conditioners and shampoo, towels etc. We had some rough sleeps as we believe there was some animal up in our ceiling or roof running along but it is bali so this is normal

Perfection

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a decent size, especially for just one person. the food at the restaurant was absolutely amazing, and very quickly prepared. The property was so well maintained, all the plants in the gardens looked so healthy and the gardens themselves were absolutely stunning, compliments to whomever is responsible for them. It's so close to Uluwatu beach, about 3 minutes by scooter, about 5 minutes from Padang Padang and there are countless other good breaks nearby. All the animals at the property were so sweet and friendly. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Perfect 👌

The only thing that I could complain about was the noise of the construction that was going on nearby, which obviously was no fault of Tregge, but it's just something to note.

Perfect!

The room is spacious, clean and perfectly insulated. The place is beautifully maintained and the garden is superb. The staff are very attentive and will help you with anything you need. The location is ideal and the scooters on offer are perfect, as is the breakfast... nothing to complain about, I'd go back without hesitation.

Bad rooms, great pool

The pool and restaurant area are beautiful, but the rooms are outdated and need work. Lots of mold in the bathroom was the biggest issue but the rooms were just generally not well maintained.

Everything we could have wanted

A simple room but beautiful grounds (currently building a pool but didn’t effect us at all) What made this property so special was the owners, they went out of there way to help us. And as we had just landed in Bali and were unsure about currency a few times we gave the wrong change, they were so honest and just made us feel really safe. Thankyou!

The staff is really friendly, they serve food at a good price, the room is nice and clean, and the bed is comfortable. I was bitten by a dog during my stay and the staff was so helpful! The surroundings of the property are pleasant to be, with water fountains and lots of tropical plants. It's simple and nice. I will certainly come back one day!
