Really friendly staff - managed to have a card delivered to hotel as we travelled from Spain - provided an iron and overall really good value. Best part was location - next to bars and cafes - Wetherspoons for breakfast - and a very short walk to the sea - Whitley Bay - easy walk then to Tynemouth. Few minutes walk from metro - suited us great.

The convenience of being in the centre meant not a quiet stay - suited us fine but not if you want an early night! But shut the windows and no more noise!

This was a very cheap nights stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating I arrived before check in but my room was ready and I was able to park my car. It is in a good location a short distance from the sea front and near to the town centre. If you want basic and just somewhere to sleep for little money this is the place.

It is very tired and needs some TLC. There were a lot of electrical extension leads in the rooms so I was not confident plugging anything else in. Wifi was free but poor maybe because I was on the top floor. The bedding had some marks on it although the bed was comfy. It was very noisy until the early hours as there is a pub attached so if you want a quiet night this is not the place for you. For one night it was ok but I probably would not stay there again.
