The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was handy for town etc. The off street parking behind the hotel was great as well. The room was a good size and the bedding appeared clean.
We had the worse night's sleep during our stay. Being away from the front of the hotel we didn't get too much of the opposite nightclub noise, we had to have the window open due to the room being warm so could hear some music thudding and some idiots shouting but not too bad and the hotel can't control this. The worst noise was due to the thin walls and floors of the hotel. Our neighbour and room above were so noisy both at night and early in the morning, it really was quite bad. There was also a lot of noise from the hallway. We also had a large gap under our door which didn't help reduce the noise. The hotel overall is tired and needs updating and it appears the lift has been out of order for a year, however, we were warned about this prior to our stay.

Great location just needs a little tlc

Maybe a bit run down but all I wanted was a bed for the night for after a lads night out !!! Hotel room was clean and tidy and staff were friendly. Lift had broken down but we were pre warned of that so no problem for us .

Nothing exceptional but all you need for a few days stay at a reasonable price.
Central location and my room was overlooking main street so couldn’t have window open as very noisy when local clubs turning out. Obviously nothing the hotel can do about that.

Location is decent, facilities were good, fairly priced.
Discovered leak through ceiling in the middle of the night, understandably these things happen. We were moved promptly, however not informed that we were being moved into a twin room from a double, “for convenience”, down the hall, and in our new room the window would not lock. Staff had no idea or intention to help with this safety issue, we were offered to move again “free of charge” (which I would consider the bare minimum) but had already moved and for the sake of a two night stay packing up and moving down the hall again seemed like it was hardly worth going. Facilities were clean and otherwise a lovely place to visit, just a shame about the lack of effort from staff.
