Good for one-two cheap overnight stays in the heart of Lindau, bad at communicating extra expenses

The location is great. Price is far below average for the location.

There is usually nobody at the reception. We were literally cheated with the Bodensee card, which was advertised as it is included into the hotel price, but on checkout we were charged extra 72 euros for it. If we were aware about the price, we will never take it: it's discounts allowed us to save 15 euros while we paid 72. I believe such things should be clearly communicated. This card is probably fine when there is no 9-Euro ticket, but not in our situation. Unfortunately I wasn't there at the checkout, to tell them everything I think about that. The hotel is old, walls are very thin. The pillows are also not the best. There is a restaurant or cafe under the windows and usually it was loud until late night.

The location was nice and quiet but minutes from the centre of Lindau. The room was a nice size and even had a small balcony which gave us shade with a beautiful grape vine..the room was cleaned daily and towels replenished as required.

Breakfast was basic , no provision to make toast. Personally i found the bed uncomfortable but that is just a personal issue as my husband didn't have a problem.

It was a hotel to sleep and be based in for exploring Lindau and the rest of the Bodensee and we ate out all the time which was convenient

The stairs and stairwell were tight and awkward and we struggled with our bags and luggage. Also en-suite facilities were tiny! At least we could park reasonably close to the hotel. We booked two rooms which we had been told would be adjoining and then when we got there we were given rooms on different floors, so this disappointing.

Einfach alles. Kein ausreichendes Licht im Bad, die Wassertemperatur wechselt beim duschen selbstständig von warm auf eiskalt , Zimmer sehr sehr hellhörig, nach 22 Uhr noch sehr laut (inklusive Hunde Gebell aus dem Nachbar Zimmer), am Tag der Anreise keine Handtücher auf dem Zimmer, Montag Frühstück keine Brötchen, aufgeschnittenes Brot vom Wochenende.

Sehr schlichte Zimmer (günstiger Preis), teilweise unbequeme Einrichtung, zB Bett u sanitäre Anlagen

Wirt und Personal sind sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist sehr gut, weil direkt auf der Insel und nah genug am Bahnhof und einer Einkaufsmöglichkeit sowie touristischen Zielen.

Das Bett ist nur 1,90 m, also sehr kurz, so dass die Beine herausbaumeln, wenn man ausgestreckt liegt. Die Beleuchtung des Zimmers ist zu dunkel, um am Schreibtisch zu lesen oder zu arbeiten. Der Abfluss des Waschbeckens ist teilweise verstopft, so dass es rasch volläuft und das Wasser nur sehr langsam abläuft. Die Feststellschraube der Halterung für den Brausekopf der Dusche ist lässt sich nicht festziehen, so dass der Kopf immer wieder herunterrutscht. Es gab nur eine Rolle Toilettenpapier, so dass ich um mehr bitten musste. Die Zimmerreinigung findet nur morgens oder gar nicht statt: Als Langschläfer habe ich erst gegen 10 oder 11 das Schild zur Reinigung rausgehängt und dann keine Reinigung mehr bekommen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut und es ist schnell vom Hafen und vom Insel-Bahnhof zu Fuss erreichbar.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber grundsätzlich gut gepflegt und sauber.

Es ist relativ hellhörig, da ich selbst mit Kleinkind da war störte mich selbst das nicht. Ich hatte aber manchmal Sorge, dass wir andere stören.
