The room was a lovely on suite, parking was right outside the property which helped ! There was a bar lounge area with a games room which was fun to see. The owners were very welcoming and helpful recommending us all the great places to visit !

I liked the location, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The spa was a nice bonus, and the surrounding area was convenient. There was also a pool table and other games available, which were great to have, and the local residents’ parking option was another added bonus.

The biggest disappointment was being charged £20 per day just to have access to the air-conditioning remote. This was not made obvious when booking, especially as I specifically selected a room advertised as having air conditioning. Being charged £40 simply to use it for a few hours across two days felt unreasonable and unfortunately left a bad impression. I personally enjoyed the spa, although my wife did not. She later told me that the spa temperature was set to 40°C, which was far too hot for her and caused her to overheat quite quickly. We also were not aware that at this temperature you should only stay in the spa for around 15 minutes, so some clearer guidance would have been helpful. There were also a number of smaller issues with the room. The shower head was covered in limescale, and the toilet was positioned so close to the wall on the left-hand side that it was uncomfortable to use. The bathroom sink also had a glass shelf directly above it, making it awkward to wash your face without hitting your head or face against it. There was hand wash provided, but the other soap dispenser was empty. Noise was another issue. The walls seemed very thin, and we were woken up early by noise and conversations coming from the street.
