A really lovely little place to stay. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. Having kitchen facilities to use is a bonus although we didn’t use them. The shower wasn’t great (rain head only) and I really struggled to work it. It would also be great to have a mirror in the bedroom area for getting ready as the only mirror was in the bathroom.

The Blue star House Hotel is on a 1way street, which is very quiet and peacefull. Very close to lots of restaurants and bistro bars. Close to a couple of shops, and very nice area on the edge of old southsea area.

The property is in a quiet road in Southsea, however parking is extremely limited and after midnight loud and noisy students walk between the bars and their rooms.
The overhead "Rain" shower is not good and water pressure is rubbish. Kitchen was well stocked, but other guests didn't keep it so clean as required.
However, I did enjoy the three days and would stay again.
