Excellent location and spacious room

The location is excellent, right next to the church and the tram station. The room was spacious, and I especially loved their blankets because they were incredibly warm, which was perfect for winter.

There was a really bad water leak that was covered with a mat and made the whole place smell musty. The kettle only worked occasionally. A plate was chipped badly and the decor was tired. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked and the wooden door frame looked rotten. Overall not a great place to stay and I would not recommend it. Flat 4 19 campo lane

Incredible value-for-money stay with comfortable beds.

The property is in an exceptional location for city centre activities and the staff I spoke to were very helpful and courteous. The property was surprisingly low cost yet all the main items we needed were available. The beds were comfortable with lovely clean linen and the bathroom was in good condition. Everything was in good working order. There’s a Tesco express very nearby for all your essentials.

There was nothing not to like. I didn’t find an iron, which would have been useful. You could put a pint of milk in the fridge and leave a few tea, coffee and sugar sachets for arrivals if you wanted to enhance the experience. However, with Tesco so near by and the cost of the accomodation being so good, you may not want to do this.

Comfortable, convenient , spacious

Prime location of the property make it so easy and convenient. Tesco , lidl , Sainsbury everything is just a walk. Also fast food chains like Mcd , Burger King , GDK , subway is so near. The rooms were so spacious and felt like home.

Not like the pictures

The flat does not look anything like the pictures - the towels smelt clean but had stains on them. The bathroom was dirty. Zero amenities so you can't cook unless you want to buy everything - oil, salt and pepper, etc. No curtain on the window so expect to be woken up at the crack of dawn!

Filthy. Smelt of smoke and urine. Sofa ripped up. Bedsheets dirty. Shower mould. Sticky kitchen surfaces. Mould on walls. Dead bugs everywhere. Oil dripping from extractor fan. Toilet leaking. Broken tiles. DIRTY!

Location in centre of Sheffield- warm - comfort able beds. A little dark outside at night as door light wasn’t working. It is down a small lane. Nice microwave, although didn’t use. Spacious. Fridge clean. Showers were brilliant.

Although we didn’t use the cooking facilities- the hob was cracked and the toaster had seen better days. No dishwasher tablets. Although we didn’t need to use as we ate out apart from breakfast.

From cannabis smell to a putrid, mouldy bathroom

Location

We arrived to a room that was very large and not like the photos of the room we booked. It smelt strongly of marijuana. We told staff and the “solution” offered was a can of toilet spray, while they said they couldn’t smell anything. The odour was obvious and lingered. The next day staff checked in, we said we could still smell it, and we were moved to the room we had actually booked. Somehow it got worse. The bathroom was covered in mould, smelt damp and dusty, and felt unsanitary. This room should not be in service until it’s properly cleaned and remediated. Based on this experience I can’t recommend staying here. Management needs to enforce a no-smoking policy, fix the mould issue, and make sure guests get the room type shown in the photos.

Amazing property in a perfect location.

The property had 2 large bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms and a decently sized kitchen and living room. The location was perfect. They had a lot of facilities available, like a washing machine and this made the property AMAZING value for money. I would definitely stay again.

There were a few bits of wear and tear, which for the price didn’t bother me at all and is to be expected with any property. However, because we had to pay a £50 security deposit, it made me feel a little cautious. For example what if damage made by a previous guest was missed and then blamed on my stay, would the security deposit be released? It was a little cumbersome providing this as well as ID, however I respect that the hosts are protecting themselves and they were extremely quick about sending this back to me.

The apartment was in a great destination easy access into the city centre and also on arrival there was no complications with self check in either. The property itself had everything we needed clean and very comfortable bed.

A short stay but a great one

Very easy check-in process with all the directions you needed. Hosts were very prompt at replying and providing information. A great location- next to the cathedral so don't be too sensitive about the chimes from the church bells. I was so happy there were two en-suites, how great. The kitchen was well equipped pots, pans, cups, plates etc but you need to provide everything else for your cuppa. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location centrally located, comfortable bed chairs and TV. Can't fault it for the price.

The photos are misleading, I wasn't expecting the wine and fruit but thought there would be tea and coffee. These aren't part of what I'm getting so don't put photos of them in the listing. Yes there is parking but it has nothing to do with the property and costs £10. Again I don't think it is in the spirit of booking.com to say there is parking offered when it's just the city carpark. The key was left in the door and not in the safe which could have caused a problem if some one else spotted it. The cleaners need to do a better job, the floor was dusty and sticky and there appear to be chips in the oven from a previous guest. All that said I think the owner would be better to remove these elements from the listing as it represents good value without the need to oversell the property.

Perfect Sheffied city centre apartment - best for restaurant dining couples

Location - Access to transport (tram and buses right on the doorstep with direct links to the railway station, Meadow hall and other parts of the city and Rotherham) Plenty of daytime high street stores in walking distance and late night Tesco across the street. Spacious apartment with good furniture, comfortable bed and good bathroom Hob, extractor and oven worked well. Fridge freezer was very useful. Washing machine was a washer/drier (which was a bonus) Day-time manager was very helpful The Sheffield Cathedral (next door)

The area - sadly there are a lot of rough sleepers/drinkers in the area. The Cathedral supports them so they gravitate to the area and can be noisy at any time of day or night. The lack of streetlights and the old flag-paved side Street where the flat is (no vehicular access) made case trundling very difficult and as a solo traveller I felt unsafe. I wish that I had requested a low floor flat as there is no lift and 38 steps to the top floor! The apartment was not set up for much kitchen use. There were only two of each piece of crockery and cutlery, no spatulas/tongs or oven gloves, no tea towels or kitchen towels, no reasonable sized oven trays.

Great accommodation in central city location.

Very friendly manager and on-site cleaners Location superb at the back of Sheffield Cathedral. Within walking distance of several supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the city centre. Supertram and bus stops nearby. Very quiet location. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Very clean. Dishwasher was a bonus but not sure why this wasn't listed on the website.

Minimal crockery 4 plates, 4 side plates, 4 mugs, 4 glasses, only 1 sharp knife, 1 wooden spoon, etc. No mixing bowls or can opener. Only one bedside table (although nowhere to put one) and no shelf for glasses / phone either. No hooks for spare towels or to hang up towel to dry and only small towel heater in bathroom. Second key to the flat would have been helpful. Broken cooker hob. It worked but not pleasant to use. Alerted the manager who said a replacement hob would be fitted. No toaster - although there is an oven grill.

Steer clear!!

Next to the Cathedral. Tesco Express is 1 minute walk away. Nearby bus and tram points.

Don't expect anything! To sleep in a comfortable bed. To have a relaxing shower. To catch up on your Netflix series. To pop a pizza in the oven. To simply look around to see a clean apartment. Aren't these the things we pay for? Perhaps it was just my apartment... but if this is their standard...probably not. Quoting from a previous review the bed felt like a mattress filled with spanners! I travelled hundreds of miles and looked forward to having a shower and starting to relax after just 1 minute I realised the bottom tray was quickly filling like a bath. I had 2 minutes to rush before it overflowed! The oven was broken! The remote didn't work properly i used the buttons under the TV. And the Netflix app on the TV was not compatible with the TV?! No TV channels available. I complained to the owners who said they would look into fixing the shower drain. No apologies for the oven. And said the mattress was 6 months old. Although a nice view next to the Cathedral (if you don't mind bells ringing hourly) the house is down a dark lane. I wanted the space and cooking facilities so I thought I'd try an apartment for a change but wish I'd paid a bit extra and stayed in a hotel instead. At least you can expect a certain standard. 😞

Location was great, right at the center of Sheffield. Parking was easily available with lots of roadside and multistorey carparks nearby. The apartments were comfortable and equipped with the basic necessities. The interior was functional, not cluttered, making it feel spacious.

Would have been better if they could provide some extras like kitchen paper towel and kitchen cloth.

Very impressive (which could not be said for Booking.com which is operated by bots and has yet to respond to my queries). Location is perfect for City centre, apartment clean. My only comment would be to perhaps expand the kitchen offer (more glasses, plates and cutting knives).

Convenient location with a beautiful view of the cathedral, has a lovely kitchen and living room space that was nicely presented.

The hidden £50 charge and ID check that is not mentioned anywhere until you have booked and paid your non refundable charge on the room, it seems like a scam so the booking process should be made clear on the booking.com platform that there are hidden charges. Property was clean enough, but window was smashed, bedside lamps were smashed, there are ants in the bathroom and the grout on the floor has a dirty appearance. There are marks of dirt on the walls and half finished paint job in the bedroom too so just generally gives the feel that it is an uncared for and not the cleanest. In my opinion a decent cheap place to stay but not worth the money being charged for it in its current state, but would be if it was more cared for.

We Stay At Spacesavers Apartments Everytime We Make The Long Journey Up From South Wales, Everytime It Has Been Absolutely Brilliant. Great instructions for use of cooker etc. Not too many utensils (I preferred) places can sometimes be crammed with too many. All rooms were well laid out and presented. Washing machine was in a separate cupboard

It was a little on the warm side but I did stay whilst 30+ degrees (most places would of been the same) however there was a big fan available to use. Maybe there should of been a sign on the back of door asking other guests not to slam doors (was quite loud when guests were coming in and out)
