Smelled of cigarettes all over Marks on walls in bathroom Stain on toilet seat Loud party outside full of students even though it stated parties were not allowed and people Under age of 25 were not allowed. Therefore me and my partner barely got any sleep- disappointing as we travelling by train to get here Bedding hadn’t been washed. Draws were broken. Hairs on bed.

Spacious and comfortable

Location was great. Walking distance to the city centre. Great to have a kitchen and settee. Nice walk in shower. Our room was just one room, not a separate bedroom but was still spacious and great for the price we paid. Easy check in with code. Parking.. the one close by was getting cleaned and the spaces are very small. £10 a day There is on street parking with meters but i didnt check the price. We used the NCP one which was just round the corner. Cost £15 a day but i think if you down load the app and pay in advance it might be cheaper. The Dove &Rainbow Rock pub is also just round the corner

I arrived to the property and the door was unlocked - I felt very uneasy entering the property. Anyone could have been in there . Then I noticed how cold it was . All the radiators were switched off so I went around switching them on (the bedroom one did not come on at all ) I rang them to discuss this and they said “they’re automatic and come on every four hours so it should be fine “ … don’t understand how they would have come on having been switched off on the walls . The bed was dirty with weird black smudges in and burn holes in the cover . The cupboards were broken . The sofa was split . There is no coffee, no sugar , no tea . Water had been left in the kettle and it smelt like old water that has been left in there . There is barely any cooking utensils or items to make food with . The bed is horrifically uncomfortable . I slept in a cold, uncomfortable bed after being made to sound like I was not clever enough to switch the radiator on, on the wall. I am convinced a lot of these reviews aren’t real .

Everything was perfect

Lovely flat and nice to be on two levels, the flat was in a great location near the centre of sheffield and was extremely comfortable, was nicely presented and nice to have a little yard outside the back door. The beds were very comfortable and nice to have proper curtains!!

The parking suggested by the host nearby was hard to get in as the door was broken.

Excellent location, very clean and comfortable, the apartment had everything we could need. I liked that the windows had privacy film as well

Great location and hosts made up the sofa bed for us as an additional bed.

Although the bathroom and kitchen were clean, the whole apartment needed a deep clean. Carpets were stained and felt dirty, doors had black marks around the handles.

The location - close to city centre

The radiator in the living room was hanging off. The was a burn iron mark in the hallway, once of the quilts looked like it had been used to mop up Ed Gein’s house. A shower door was off its rails and free leaning in one of the showers.

Good size room and had good facilities

Key collection was challenging, giving deposit, receiving the deposit, and other issues that were communicated with the owner. Many thanks anyways.

Excellent value for money. Approximately £55 mid-October. Booked last minute. Proximity to city centre and plenty of paid parking options in the area. Spacious 2-bed apartment. Comfortable beds. Easy to access. Security deposit returned promptly.

Open plan kitchen-lounge could be improved by providing a small dining table & chairs. There’s plenty of room for it.

Central location but that's about it

The room was super grimey. Floors were unclean. Pretty sure there was a mouse dropping in the bathroom. One of the spare toilet rolls look liked it had been already dropped down the toilet and had like toilet cleaner on it. The bed was absolutely awful. Kept up all night by people in other rooms and the slamming of the the big metal gate to the entrance.

Everything was clean and very spacious. Very easy check in can come and go whenever you like.

Great location but that's all it's got going for it.

This place was absolutely terrible. I had to pay a £50 'damage deposit' but lots of things were already damaged - a broken blind, a taped up shower, a broken light fitting. When I messaged about this the response was 'don't worry, we're aware of the damage'! So they were aware but had done nothing to repair it (looking at previous reviews I can see that these issues had been raised by other guests). The shower was stuck on a temperature so hot it was unusable (again, this had been raised by other guests); I had to message multiple times before someone came to fix it - they just kept suggesting I didn't know how to use a shower. The flat looked as if it had been fitted out from Poundland - a terrible mattress, cheap (and stained) bedding, exactly two of everything in the kitchen (2 forks, 2 spoons etc), a couple of crappy old saucepans, no washing up bowl or plug so you had to wash up under the tap, not even a tea towel. I didn't sleep the first night as the bed was so uncomfortable. I asked if we could be moved but they said they had no other properties available. Four days in, two mice ran out from under the kitchen units. They continued to come and go and we took a video of them. When I contacted the hosts, they said we should vacate immediately and they would refund 20% (£100). They refused to move us elsewhere or to pay if I found somewhere myself (I checked and three nights somewhere comparable was £300). I refused to go (fortunately neither of us is mouse phobic) and demanded a partial refund. They went up to 30% but given not just the mice but also the terrible state of the flat, I felt that wasn't enough. Eventually it was resolved by booking.com who made them refund me in full. It wasn't particularly the mice that was the issue: it was the attitude of the hosts, offering sub-standard accommodation then expecting us to move elsewhere at our own expense. Absolutely appalling.

It was dirty. The sofa was covered in crumbs from previous tenants. There were holes and cuts in the sofa. The fridge was dirty the freezer had months worth of built up ice the sink was dirty the drainer was dirty and the bin was dirty. The bathroom shower sink and floor were all dirty. No one had ever attempted to clean the room and the smell was Disgusting

I don’t like anything

The location. It was so close to the city centre, to the train station and the shops

I didn’t find anything negative

The location near the city center was meant to be positive but the entrance to the property is on a dimly lit side street. You can tell it is dangerous because there was a police car about 300m from the property. Sadly the cop car is at the only part of the street that is well lit (just after the main high street). The building itself is at the darkest part of the alley.

I stayed in Flat 5. This is important because it is quite possible that other flats are in a better state but I have no way of verifying that. CHECK-IN. For flat 5 SpaceSavers Fig Tree lane it was difficult to get in. The front door (really a metal gate with a door behind it) is off a dark alley. Fortunately there was a police car at the top of the alley (see what did you like section). After paying for the property on booking.com I received a separate message asking me for money. Initially I thought it was extortion until I spoke to Booking.com who said that is the accommodation provider policy. This was not seen anywhere on Booking.com and there was no one to receive me or I would have given my card. Note that the extra deposit payment has since been returned but I HAVE NOT GOT MY FULL REFUND and compensation yet. IN THE PROPERTY. The photo on Booking.com is DIFFERENT to the property. I travelled 5h for work and picked this place over a hotel because the photos suggested an excellent accommodation. To help fellow travellers I took photographic evidence below (as I always want to be fair) (1) The bathroom shower door did not close properly so water poured to the floor and there was mould near the wall (2) There was blood inside the tissue that was left for me as a guest! (3) The bin in the living room did not have a cover and was smelling with a foul odour along with the basin in the living room. (4) The sofa in living room was torn in multiple places and worn. (5) The curtain in living room was dirty with stains. (6) The sink in bathroom does not seal meaning that any face wash needs to be done in the leaking shower. (7) The toilet seat had dirt round the edges. 3 other points to note: I have informed Booking.com who have taken issues up with the property provider; and eventually fearing for bedbugs (I did not see any but would not have been surprised) and my health, I left to Hilton hotel in Sheffield.

The property was clean and well equipped.

Bear in mind there is a £50 deposit to pay before arrival.

This apartment was very spacious and had everything you needed in a great location that had no noise from the road and the beds were very comfortable.

When we visited it was very hot so we had to keep the windows open meaning there were noises echoing from the building behind with people talking and making food but once the windows were closed, it was peaceful

Nothing- all good

The facilities were great, very spacious in all rooms, very clean and tidy in all rooms. Literally couldn’t fault the entire apartment alone!

The main door downstairs was being opened at early hours.

the staff was really nice and helpful and the room was very comfortable and clean i would definitely stop here again
