Location was good
We were travelling with our 8-month-old, who crawls non-stop, which made the following issues especially concerning. The apartment was dirty upon arrival — dusty floors, unclean surfaces, cupboards full of leftover items from previous guests, and food still in the fridge. Beyond the surface dirt, there was black mold on bathroom tiles across multiple bathrooms, foul smells, and dirty closets — none of which were addressed during our stay.
Several advertised amenities simply did not exist. The baby high chair had been removed years ago — the owner admitted in writing it had not been available for at least five years — yet it was still listed as available equipment. The listing also advertises a "city view" — the apartment has two windows that point almost vertically at the sky.
The tumble dryer failed on day two, and the toilet cistern broke on day four, leaving the upstairs bathroom unusable for the rest of the stay.
When I raised the hygiene issues, the owner blamed the previous guests for leaving late and us for requesting an early check-in, claiming both left him less time to clean — even though the early check-in was never confirmed and we actually arrived at 17:00. He also suggested I should not expect the same hygiene standard as a hotel — despite charging hotel-comparable prices and holding a 9.7 rating.
Rather than offering any practical compensation, his only proposals were to send workmen (cleaners, electricians, plumbers) into the apartment on separate occasions during our holiday — meaning we would lose our privacy, be unable to follow our baby's normal routine for naps and feeding, and have to worry about small components like screws or bolts being left on the floor where an infant who puts everything in his mouth could choke on them. Throughout it all, the owner showed no willingness to acknowledge responsibility, deflected blame at every turn, and refused to offer any form of compensation.

The AC could have been a bit stronger, and I didn’t realize there wasn’t a separate room for the second sleeping area—just a sliding door dividing the two bedroom spaces.

The apartment is quite and has all the amenities needed. The host was most helpful and so kindly left us the essentials needed when arriving late on Sunday when all the shops had closed-thank you a nice unexpected touch. Would love to stay again. Highly recommend.

Greate location and lovely stay
The location is amazing, few minutes and you are already in center. Kinds loved Netflix, the hoste gave us welcome drinks and snacks. The washing machine and drying machine ware a plus.The hoste met us on location, and explained everything, showed the garage, which is 50m away. It was a nice stay.

We are very happy to have booked Le Loft. Great location in beautiful Strasbourg. A very well designed use of space, with two bathrooms, washer and drier.
We enjoyed some treats that were left for us too! It was very clean. The host was very helpful giving us suggestions on what to do and where to eat.

Wonderful location, very close to the city center and sights, but on a quiet street. Plenty of space to relax after a day of sightseeing. I especially appreciate street level apartment, ad we arrived by bike. I wikis definitely here again!

Perfect place for visiting Strasbourg
We really fell in love with Strasbourg and for a good part this was also due to the choice of accommodation. The apartment was very modern, clean and roomy with all the necessary amenities. Our host was super friendly and provided us with all kinds of additional info and was always just a short message away. The location was perfect: Just a few steps away from a bridge that would bring us to the Grande Île, the historic part of town. And to top if off, the fridge was filled with complimentary refreshments (including a very welcome bottle of Prosecco). This is definitely the place for us whenever we will manage to make it back over to this charming city.

this is not a con, but if anyone has balance issues or hard time with stairs it could be challenging. My cousin had knee surgery fairly recently and was a bit nervous but for anyone where this isn’t an issue it’s a perfect place.
