Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, easy check in, Rosaria meets us at the door and explains everything, 2nd floor with elevator, size as advertised and very clean, well-lighted, solid kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, quiet, clothes washer, best internet of the trip, good air conditioning.
Location is far (1 km) from the city center's attractions, shops, train station and most fine restaurants, and all steeply uphill/downhill. Unless you are fit and enjoy walking get to know the Trieste bus system, which is very good and can take you right to the door.

Lovely apartment with good amenities
The second bedroom was very small, too small for the bed.
The property is near the castle, up a steep hill which is challenging when you have luggage. Suggest the property description includes information on the elevator from the lower town and also the bus from the station

Location was fantastic and host was so welcoming.
Apartment was a comfortable base and had what we needed
Having parking was great even though it was very tight to park.
Rooms were very hot even with the fans
