Gioia Home appartamento di design

Generally clean and spacious 3 bedroom apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Bin bags, 2 dishwasher tablets provided. Hairdryer, scales and toiletries provided. Lots of storage. Huge wardrobe space and plenty of hangers. Small balcony at each side of the apartment. Air conditioning in hallway that flowed into bedrooms. Easy self check in and out. Great communication with owner throughout. Good location with a butchers, bakery and very well stocked spar supermarket on the doorstep. Parking right outside (although not guaranteed, usually got a space after a short wait).

Beds are too firm. Duvets stored in wardrobes were a little stained. There were 2 bathrooms but only one had a toilet in. The drain in the shower really smelled, we had to run water and open window every morning due to drain smell. Didn’t use washing machine as it smelled musty. Oven could do with cleaning. There are quite a few steps to apartment on first floor. Building has a lift but requires a key that is not provided.

Overall cozy place with professional host. The wifi was good and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had lots of kitchen utensils, and cleaning products. There was a supermarket with everything you might need just 100 meters away. The curtains in the bedrooms were great and made the whole room fully dark.

There was only one AC unit which made for a quite hot apartment. We would advice to keep the doors open on the bedrooms. The floor was also quite slippery when wet. But the most important thing for us was the free parking which is advertised, but is quite misleading as you actually just have to find parking nearby, which was not a problem for us luckily, but is just not as advertised as it is not their parking.
