S1 Luxury Suites and Rooms

We loved our stay at S1 Luxury Suites! The central location made it easy to reach any part of the local restaurants and shops, as well as the landmarks like Piazza Unità for its beauty, sights, and for the famous Caffè degli Specchi. (Breakfast there is a must!) Veering to the left from Piazza Unità easily takes you to via Cavana - great for restaurants and shopping, and back to the right, to Il Canal Grande, for great restaurant dining by the canal. A supermarket also is very close by, just across Corso Italia - very handy! The apartment seemed recently modernised, so all appointments worked really well, particularly the bathroom. It is spacious, too! (This seems typical of many restored apartments in Trieste...) We had to contact the owner for entry codes - she was extremely helpful with such processes as verifying passports and paying the city day tax - and with anything else! (The keyless code system was extremely convenient, too!) Everything flowed well during our stay. There was no need to put up with any difficulties or idiosynchracies, as virtually everything was well thought-out. The lift worked well, too. So, yes, thank you - we would stay there again!!

We liked virtually everything, but one point of possible concern: the stair-step outside our first floor apartment was made up of two slightly different types of stone, of slightly different colour. This made it look like two steps, so it could constitute a tripping hazard. We suggest some kind of yellow tape to highlight the step, as one possible solution. Otherwise all good!

Beautiful room in a great location, near the main squares in Trieste, very close to the public parking garage.

The suite is very stylish, offers a big bathroom, sort of a kitchenette and an amazing floating bed. It was pristine when we arrived, clean to the highest standards. Arguably just as important, it is located in the center of Trieste - not too far away from Piazza Unità d'Italia and near a 3 story garage, to which the host also offered meaningful discount, which makes it getting there quite easy.

We stayed for one night and we haven't come across anything, that we were either missing or would have disliked.

It was a beautiful suite that is in a busy location. Convenience and location is great but there is a lot of noise from the stree which we did not expect (suite4)

Hi there , sad to report that we were a bit disappointed in the overall stay. Understandably, tech issues happen , but the key is to resolve them in a timely manner for the comfort of your guests. The AC still did not work properly after the fix. We had a terrible sleep as a result. AND supplying a fan that only turns on when HEAT is selected is not a satisfactory measure. The lighting was incredibly below par ad the noise levels from the traffic was like listening to a 3 ring circus!
