Although only staying for one night the hotel was excellent and would recommend to others.

Ruined

The restaurant, they forgot our order and had us sat waiting for an hour and half, also came to ask if we wanted more drinks we said yes they never brought them, so we asked again then they came, then they tried charging for the extra drinks we never received, really poor and ruined our valentines meal will not be returning

My only faultt was, Chelsea fc were staying and had to wait for room to be ready, i think this should have been conveyed that this was going to happen. the situation though handled very well by staff, who were under a lot of pressure because of this.

Stayed here multiple times before staff are always polite and the rooms are always spotless!

Again the parking at the hotel is quite extortionate - I have parked cheaper in London for 48 hours! Management really need to look in to having some form of discount applied for people staying at the hotel with regards to parking.

The TV stand in our room 507 was facing the wrong way so the drawers were not usable which would have been handy and the screws on show werent nice to look at not sure how this had happened??

Great location in the City Centre but wouldn’t stay there again

The location was great and welcome cookie was a nice touch.

The bed was like sleeping on a board. The mattress definitely needs changing in the room we were in. Both myself and my wife had back pain caused from pressure and barely slept all night because of it. We did pre pay for breakfast but when we went to the counter to be booked in for it, staff said we weren’t shown down on her list and I had to produce my booking on my phone which showed breakfast included. This was embarrassing for me and delayed others waiting to sit.

The Staff are incredibly welcoming & helpful, nothing is too much trouble, treats brought for my dog, bowl of water etc. The serving staff at the restaurant were lovely too & the reception team.

Location is the only positive aspect of the hotel what I found from my visit.

When we checked in at 7:30pm we were issued with a room which wasn’t ready when we unlocked the room the bathroom was dirty and the bed was in a mess so we got out of the room and went to reception back again and soon got issued a new room and a free voucher for a drink at the bar. After long day I wasn’t expecting such issue. The shower had no body shop despite the room was ready sure it was checked by housekeeping as if was late didn’t ask for it used mg own bath gel as I had little bit left the next day it wasn’t filled either and the shampoo run out and I didn’t bother to ask as the basic of housekeeping was lacking big time as my rubbish bin wasn’t cleaned either when o got back from my day out . The lobby is so close to bar and if was quite loud to have a relax seat down and enjoy drink . Though the bar wasn’t pleasant either. Not to start with the £6.40 per bottle still water charge by hotel as for the corporate ESG target goals they have stopped putting water bottles and now charging that sum for a little of still water. I know the Harrogate water bottles don’t cost much and the parking is definitely the most expensive while the 24 hours for £4 is just next to it.

Luxurious, lavish and perfect for comfort

The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and polite. My little boy loved the big comfy bed, and was chatting away to the staff at breakfast. They were very friendly and brought him pancakes.

The view wasn’t great. Just looking out on the roof and car park but didn’t have a negative impact on my stay.

Fabulous stay ,made to feel very welcome.

The staff was beyond fantastic, probably the most helpful , attentive and professional staff we have experienced. This was everyone from the front of house to evening bar & dinning,breakfast waiting staff through to the house keeping. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel is very modern , clean and comfortable. large free safe to use . Luxury bathroom shampoo conditioner etc . Thank you for such a lovely stay . Just a shame it wasn't for longer ! Meal on evening of the stay and breakfast was enjoyable, tasty and plentiful.

Minor niggles were... Lift signage very small and bronze letters onto dark background . Positioned so that you walked past the door to the lift. We were unfortunately not the only guests to experience this problem . No main light in the room only bedside lights. Light not bright in the bathroom. Even though the fabulous mirror has a light surrounding it. Could do with a coat hook as you enter for hanging outdoor wet coats . Not ideal for back of the bathroom door to encourage a slip hazard. Car park quite a walk for disabled guests, unfortunately I understand this can't be changed but maybe guests could be made aware of this problem when booking.

Boxing stopover

Reception staff either knew or need training- asked questions- unsure of basic answers about hotel and policies. Attended boxing event with friends- one of staff taking orders at the tables was DAM-RIGHT RUDE with myself and my guests- had to speak with manager- her attitude was APPALLING !!! I explained to her that I have MOBILITY ISSUES and requested assistance- she refused over and over again- had to wait 35 minutes to get a single drink when people on tables around me were being served easily ??? Myself and my friends had been very polite and patient with her throughout the evening, but her attitude was certainly VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST ! She spoilt a great evening with friends- even one of the promoters had same issue !!!

Even though the hotel is central and on the main road , I felt there was very little street noise. Very clean , nice size rooms , decent size TV. Hot cookies on check in , nice touch. Reception text message checking all is ok , again nice touch. Breakfast outstanding 👌 . Staff very helpful overall best place I've stayed in a while. Until next time !
