Beautiful lodgings with a warm welcome.

Very warm welcome from the host. Secure bicycle storage. A beautiful house with a very well-kept garden, the room felt very cosy and private. It had everything we needed for the night, we would have happily stayed longer. Highly recommend!

The owner of the property is a very respectful and kind person. She received us in a sophisticated manner. I loved the garden and the tranquility.

Insects - The bathroom door in the outside room did not suit me because it has a hole between it and the ceiling and does not allow privacy - The weather is hot in the room that does not have air conditioning .. I booked a room with air conditioning and upon checking in it was not available.

This is the second time we’ve been here. I absolutely love Villa Magdalena - we are already planning to come back for the Xmas markets in Bruges and Ghent. I’ve traveled all over Europe and this if my favourite place to stay.

A perfect stay in a great location

The property was lovely. A beautiful building with lovely garden. We stayed in the family suite and it was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. We would definitely return.

What a lovely place to unwind after a busy day in Bruges!

Villa Magdalena is a lovely house outside Bruges. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed and relaxing private patio space overlooking a pretty garden. We especially appreciated the port and chocolate that greeted us.

Unfortunately there was a family with children in the room above ours who were either dropping things or jumping around above us late into the night and again early in the morning, which made for a far less peaceful stay.

Great place to stay if you're in the main house

Extension room not nearly as good as rooms in the main house. Bathroom did not have a proper door or window. Mattress was extremely soft. Beautiful environment and friendly host. Good breakfast.

We only stayed for a night wish we could have stayed a few more days. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. They provided a cot for my son which was very nice of them.

The fact that they didnt have a bathtub. It was hard to bathe my toddler in the shower. Would have been nice it there was an antislip mat cause my son fell :(

Although my stay was short, the pleasant experience will stay with me for a long time. My host was very friendly, and made me feel right at home, arriving late after a long day of work.

Very nicely decorated house, wonderful bed, super clean shower with very top Rituals toiletries, amazing living room with superb garden view! When you cross the doorstep, you can see that you are entering someone's home, not just a usual hotel. Annelies made our stay super cosy and very comfortable. At first, it is very comfy that you can check in till 22.00 and secondly, we really appreciated the opportunity of having breakfast at 10.00 (instead of a standard time slot of 07-10). Also, Annelies is a very friendly hostess who was able to give us all the needed instructions about the city and made the most delicious breakfast. Definitely worth coming back, even just to spend a weekend in such a beautiful house with an amazing terrace and garden!

Relaxing and beautiful b&b

Such a beautiful house with great attention for detail in both design, and hospitality. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious: different local cheeses and ham and loved the homemade jam. The garden with the fish pond was a highlight. The hosts were superfriendly and welcoming. Would recommend it and come back again when we are in the area.
