Monterosso Apartments in Servano's Villas

Once inside the apartment, all was good. Lots of room, everything worked. Perfect for two couples. Tip. There is a back way onto the property thru the garden which avoids the steep front stairs.

The directions provided to find the apartment were not great. The directions to find the car park were awesome, but we arrived by foot. Parking in Monterosso is a real issue, so I can see why the level of attention paid to the parking instruction…but just wish the instruction to find the apartment was a thoughtful. The property itself desperately needs a landscaping makeover!! It was seriously overgrown, which stripped any desire to sit outside. Finally, I left my group behind to look for the apartment, as it was 35 degrees out and humping our luggage around was getting old. When I did find the place, the host insisted I do the tour with her even though I said I wanted to go to the bottom of the hill to get my group so they could get in the A/C. She was very insistant though that I do the walk thru immediately. So I did, then went and got my group. When we returned she was still outside on her phone, so not sure what the panick was about.

Great location and lovely view. Very comfortable too.

The 95 steps you have to climb to get to the front door and go back down when you want to go anywhere.

Perfect location in Monterosso for a group of 5. Easy to walk to from the train station and close to beaches and restaurants and a small grocery store. The villa gave our group lots of space and came with gorgeous views. Donatella met us at the property and was so friendly explaining everything about the space. The villa had beach umbrellas to bring with you as well as other little perks that made it extra nice!

We loved our three day stay at Villa 16. The pictures and reviews were spot on. The walk was approximately 10+ minutes from the train station. I appreciated the YouTube video which clearly showed how to get to the apartment from the train station. You can take the uphill walkway to avoid the stairs when checking in. Donetella met us right on time to check in. The location is in Old town filled with plenty of delicious restaurants. Plus - the Villa is on the path that starts the hike to Vernazza. This was a great place to stay for family of 6. Highly recommend!
