A lovely apartment for a relaxed stay in Mazunte.

Very comfortable property, nice well equipped kitchen. Great view over the pacific from up the hill and quiet at night compared to other areas of town. Mazunte is a really well equipped little town, lots of restaurants and shops. Araceli was a great host, checking in on us each days and gave us everything we needed. The property is the equivalent of maybe 4/5 stories up the hill, easy enough to walk if a bit hot when you get there.

Nothing not to like, it was all as advertised, I always wish to get more pillows but this was the case across Mexico on our trip.

The only complaint is that the Aircon is right above the bed which makes it a bit cold to use at night even on a high temperature.

Highly recommend this nice, new, comfortable Apartment with all amenities.

Our hosts/owners Araceli and Manuel were very friendly and attentive to our needs. Offered to clean the apartment daily, provided water and allowed us to park an ATV at their home or their neighbours. Modern, new, very clean apartment. Fully equipped kitchen with a 4 burner stovetop and microwave, full sized fridge. The views of the ocean and of the town on the mountainside (sunset) were great! Down the driveway was the main street and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Nothing we didn't like. For me only, driving the ATV up the steep driveway with steps in between. Walking it provided some exercise for this 60+ couple :D

Wonderful and so nice to stay in something new and clean.

Accommodation is new, kitchen is just the right size for 2 people. Coffee maker, coffee, sugar, salt, oil and a large drinking water jug was included and if you liked the coffee was replenished every day with the daily cleaning. Owners are very kind and both speak English. They kindly allowed us to check in early and leave our bags in the suite until it was ready for us which was less than an hour. Araceli responds quickly on Whats app to any requests. The deck and view are very nice. The view is better than shows in the photos. There is a well stocked small with store within 3 minutes of the accommodation. Manzute beach is within an easy 5 min walk down a quite side street. Augustinillo beach is within 10 min easy walk along the main road. It was very quiet at night and feels very safe. As did the entire area.

As soon as I arrived, Manuel made me feel very comfortable and he was very helpful with any questions I had! The room was very big, and the bed was huge! And comfortable. The shower had hot water and the kitchen had everything you'd need to cook in. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the whole room cool and relaxing. Manuel also helped me to get to the airport. Would highly recommend! Thanks so much Manuel!

gorgeous studio overlooking the beach. the internet didn’t work right away but the owner took care of it and it was fine. air con was crucial after spending the day in the heat in mazunte. the owner was really nice too

The room was very nice and spacious and it had plenty of fans and AC to cool down the room, which was very important for me as it was very hot in Mazunte when I stayed there. The balcony and the view to the ocean was also really nice. Having a small kitchen and a fridge/freezer was also a huge plus. The location of the property is in my opinion very nice, it is a ~10 minute walk to the main beach and ~5 minute walk to the center area of Mazunte which is nice as it can get quite loud in the center. Communication was also excellent, they were very responsive and helpful.

Walk to town, super clean, quiet and comfortable with amazing hosts

We stayed in the smaller unit (sleeps 2) and our friends in the larger unit (sleeps 3). It was really clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well, the bathroom also great. The bed was really comfy with clean, white linens and pillows. The hosts were wonderful and attentive (they live upstairs). The walk to town and the beach was a perfect distance, however, the driveway is steep with a bit of a climb but not bad since a bit of exercise is good after eating so many great meals out! It was a quiet during the nights we stayed there. The place is set up with a table and chairs and a small couch and a balcony and is very accommodating and pleasant. Very, very clean!! We would definitely recommend this place!!

The one thing I can think of is having sharper knives as we liked to cook meals. We also had an ant attack but the host came down immediately and sprayed them away. Nothing more to say except we were very happy here.

Owner deliberately double booked our room

Good location

The owner had deliberately double booked the room. They said they had given it to a couple who had already been at the hotel for a month. They did not mention this before we arrived or even during check in! The room they had available only had one bed. We are two solo travellers, not a couple and purposely booked the room because it had two beds. The owner put up an airbed instead which is not what we wanted. I had booked somewhere nice to enjoy for the last few days even though we are on a tight budget. The owner offered a miserly discount and stood over us until we paid, leaving us with no option to find another hotel. The steps to the hotel are very steep making it difficult to carry luggage. The man in the room next door exposed himself to us in the night which was disgusting and left me shocked and upset. There are nudist beaches in the area but I was not expecting that in my hotel

Very clean apartment with a well equipped kitchen. (Many thanks for the coffee)! Great location to walk to several beaches, dinner, shopping and all that there is to see in Mazunte and San Augustillio. AC worked great and hot water was a plus. It is a shared terrace so that was not very private and did not lend to outside relaxation time. Host was very helpful and friendly. She provided daily cleaning service. It was a very comfortable stay overall.

Very Nice appartement at Mazunte, feel like home

comfortable, spacious and well equipped apartment. It feels like home. I like to the view on the beach and the terrasse

I was traveling with a friend. I select this appartement because it has two bed. But I didn't notice they have 2 rooms (one with 2 bed and one with 1 bed). Unfortunetly I book the room with one bed. It is not clear on booking. But no worries, the bed was huge and comfortable, we sleep very well :)

one of the best rooms we have stayed in. the apartment was lovely. you can really tell that the hosts put good effort to make it comfortable and well equipped. we also learned that the hosts are making great efforts to make their Posada as sustainable as possible (ex: hearing the water with solar energy). it was clean and really comfortable. the kitchen was equipped with everything. what we appreciated the most is that they provided drinkable water. really needed with the heat in Mazunte. even it was really hot outside the room remained fresh. there was no need to use the airco that much. the location was great, right in front of the Tortuga Center.

nothing to complain. just take into account that to access the Posada you have to go up a street with a climb and som stairs. if you are carrying heavy luggage it can be tough. in the description it can be added that the street is right in front of the Centro Mexicano de la Tortuga.

great stay in a cool town.

the space is far more comfortable than it looked in pictures. a lot of natural light and because the house is situated on top of a hill you have a constant breeze within the unit. we originally booked it because we saw that there was a kitchen and AC (it’s summer and painfully hot where we’re from) but we ended up not needing the AC at all. overall this stay feels more like a home stay than a hotel stay which is nice.

the wifi doesn’t work well— we didn’t have a problem with this since we don’t really like wifi (it’s a toxin), but it’s worth noting in case someone is looking to work from the space.

Comfortable and clean place with A/C and good wifi

Great apartment just off the Main Street in Mazunte. You will appreciate the air conditioning because it can be hot in Mazunte. Wifi worked well and the owners were friendly and helpful. Very clean too! The apartment was quiet and has everything you need. Don’t worry about the steps to go up, it is not bad at all. As another reviewer mentioned it is 100 paces, up some steps, to get from the street to the front door.
