really good place

The owner was amazing. He was so kind and helpful. I wish every place we visit would be so welcome like here.

it was very simple but we didn't expect anything else. The chickens were very loud, but I'm pretty sure it was because it was our first night in Mexico, and we were coming from a non-farm animal area.

Not ready for prime time.

Very pleasant manager, okay location, decent sized room. Good AC

Sewage smell from the tiny bathroom, no safe, no fridge, no tv (which I would have expected at that price point). Quite noisy. Between the small and the noise, it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom shower dripped and the floor was constantly wet. It seemed to be quite overpriced for what we got.

Accessible & central location, friendly owners, great for a few nights!

The owner is super friendly and helpful. I needed a 'transition' place to stay for 2 nights after my previous rental ended. This place was affordable, close to the main road so I could easily grab a taxi in the morning (the owner was very helpful with this) to make it to my bus out of Pochutla. Safe for a solo female, and walkable to everything I needed (beach, restaurants, shops). The room was spacious and comfortable enough. The fan helped keep me relatively cool in the sweltering May heat. The hammock in the room was a nice touch.

A bit too noisy for a long term stay, with the sounds of traffic on main road, and construction noise starting early in the morning (May 2023). I often had to close the front (street-facing) door for privacy and minimizing of noise, which left me with little ventilation or airflow (just a smaller window at the back of the room). Thank goodness for the fan! ;) There was no drinkable water station on site. I had to buy bottled water.

I was looking for a place very clean and Hotel Casa Mazunte was. I loved the design and the location was excelente. The owner was very helpful and always very nice.

Superb

The host is very attentive and nice, great location. Communication with Host it's very good.

They were doing some construction exactly next to my wall so they were drilling in the morning next to our ears, we had to get out early, the noise was extremely hard. But I'm not sure if this was the Host fault.

Pleasant

It's a fair return for the cost. location is 5 min walk from the main street, 15 min walk from the beach.

The noise! It's right on the main road, and you can hear the cars like they are running you down inside your room. Also, the bedsheets were not so clean. no hot water

Comfortable and convenient but overpriced for what is was.

Location is great, walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Manager of the property fluent in English and very helpful and nice. Breakfast was nice.

The property is under development. The first night I was in one of the rooms on the street therefore very noisy, traffic goes past constantly.

Una agradable experiencia nos llevamos del Hotel casa Mar Mazunte , si estás buscando algo bonito y a buen precio , este hotel es el indicado, esta perfecto en cuestión de ubicación, tienes todo céntrico , el personal es súper amable, cuenta con estacionamiento, todo está limpio y en excelentes condiciones, tiene aire acondicionado en perfecto funcionamiento, realmente volveremos.

Pésimo servicio y falta de seriedad

Lamentablemente entre la aplicación y el alojamiento, cancelaron mi reservación y después de un acuerdo, de devolución de anticipo, me dicen que no es posible una semana después. Muy mal el servicio en ambos casos.

El servicio y atención del establecimiento y que no cumpla su palabra y acuerdo de devolución de anticipo. La razón fue por untema de cargos no reconocidos en mi tarjeta y no fueron para realizarme una confirmación vía telefónica o por mensaje.

Muy amigable todo el personal, me encantó que es un ambiente 100% familiar, limpieza en todos los lugares, WiFi gratis y de alta velocidad y estacionamiento en el lugar.

Un poco de ruido en general por estar muy juntas todas las habitaciones pero no resta a la experiencia.

Das Hotel Casa del Mar in Mazunte überzeugt durch seinen mega freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber, der fließend Englisch spricht. Die Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße ist ideal, da sie nachts keine Einschränkungen mit sich bringt. Alles ist sehr gut fußläufig erreichbar, einschließlich des Strandes und der Aussichtspunkte. In der Nähe befinden sich kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Apotheken sowie ein lokaler Markt, was den Aufenthalt sehr komfortabel macht. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Verfügbarkeit von heißem Wasser für das Duschen sowie die gemütliche Hängematte im Zimmer. Die Anlage ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und optisch sehr ansprechend.

Ein kleiner Nachteil ist die typisch mexikanische hellhörige Bauweise, die es schwierig machen kann, absolute Ruhe zu finden. Geräusche von außen oder aus anderen Zimmern sind oft deutlich hörbar.

El anfitrión, Esteban, muestra total disponibilidad para cualquier cosa que necesites. Incluso me prestó una máscara de buceo. Habitación bonita, muy amplia y limpia.

La habitación es bastante calurosa. Vendría muy bien aire acondicionado. También hay ruido por estar junto a la carretera de acceso a Mazunte.
