Perfect for a city break

Not the fault of the hosts. The booking app indicates parking at the hotel. This is not the case, parking is available nearby and must be reserved in advance but there is no link or phone number to make this reservation.

A very enjoyable short stay in the old town area of Rennes.

The breakfast was good , croissant and bread, jams, coffee. Location was excellent in old town with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.

Excellent location in the city centre. Very small appartment on 3 levels - very neat and clean and comfortable. Owner was very friendly and helpful and brought a nice croissant with tea for breakfast.

Early morning street noise but it was the day after fete de la musique when there were probably a lot of people sleep rough and an army of cleaning vehicles.

Cozy little central adventure!

It's a special place and an adventure stay as the flat needs some climbing to get to the living and sleeping room :) for me it was really nice and cozy, with good atmosphere and clean kitchen and bath room. Good area in town, very central too! I had to do some work calls with many participants which is usually good test for wifi, worked well too! The owners were very kind, allowed to check-in earlier and served simple but tasty breakfast in the mornings. Highly recommended!

It was a great location (as long as you are not trying to park) The gentleman who showed me in was great. Very pleasant.

If you have any trouble with stairs this will not be a good place for you. I liked it but I was traveling very light. It can be a bit noisy.

It was an appartement in the heart of the old city, I didn’t expect that it is big, so you will have a bedroom and the salon, but the style of the salon is absolutely amazing, you will have a illusion of 19th century appartement and then I had a breakfast directly in that marvelous salon!

Chambre d'hôte in the heart of Rennes.

This is a chambre d'hôte, not a hotel, it is in the 3rd floor of an old, but refurbished house near the center on top of a bakery. Our stay was very pleasant, although some installations were quite old. Very good bed, breakfast in the room. Many restaurants nearby, we choose the very cosy L'Abri du Marché at Place de Lices (simple and good) and the restaurant La Taverne de la Marine (good seafood, reservation recommended) for dinner. Instructions for arrival were very good and detailed. Windows could be closed and noise from the bar at the ground floor could be eliminated. You need 20-30min to the bus station at the train station, if you want to catch the bus to Mont Saint Malo (reservation by internet), or take the metro from Place Anne. In general, Rennes was a better choice than we thought in the beginning. Go to the Museum of History of Bretagne near the station, it is free and very informative!

The toilet was at the corridor and is small, which is OK, but a little bit inconvenient. Room not recommended for people who cannot carry heavy luggage (no lift). Also, but this is a general problem of Rennes: For trolleys and luggage with wheels, the street pavement is very uneven.

Perfect for a short stay to discover Rennes

The apartment was very cosy and with charm. Ir was very well located on the city center. Great place to explore the entire city by foot. The apartment's kitchen has the basics to prepare a simple meal. The breakfast is served um the apartment and it's French style.

The doors were creaking. The apartment should have an agreement with the nearby parking for some kind off discount in the price.

The location is exceptional, right in the middle of the historic district. The building had so much charm. And they made sure we were comfortable, especially my toddler.

It’s not for everyone for sure, and there are different room types. Ours was perfect for us! We had a great stay.

Nice place in great location

Nice apartment in the city center. Although the place is small (individual roof apartment) its very clean and well equiped. The friendly owner who lives in the same building brings the breakfast (very punctual!) I will definetly staying here again :)

Description of the property does not make it clear that while there is a shower and sink en suite, the toilet is 20 yards along a corridor with very squeaky boards….not great if you need to go in the night!
