If you like to people watch this is the place/area to be. A/C worked good, Bathroom was nice, bed was comfortable. Underground parking was tight, as most are, but very convenient, more so if both elevators are working, otherwise some extra steps are needed. If you can't do stairs at all, might be an issue, both in parking and hotel. I would go back.

The hotel is incredibly run down. We were given the family room initially (top floor) but asked to change rooms as there was an awful sewage stench from the bathroom. Then they moved us to a room on the first floor (001) - the doors and walls were very thin and we barely slept due to the noise from the other rooms and outside. The bathroom in this room was awful too, after flushing the toilet there was a terrible smell of sewage from the pipes. Would not recommend staying.

Overall, the hotel was fine for a three star. Nice they left you earplugs! Unfortunately there was a fire alarm at 0430am and we had to evacuate. This was quite scary and no explanations.

This is a typical french 3 star hotel but it is worth staying in for the location and the nearby parking Les Lices. There is tea and coffee in the room but no milk so as long as you like it black you are ok! Rooms and bathrooms are small and the lift is teeny but we were only there for one night so that was not a problem. The breakfast was the usual continental but you could boil your own eggs and make your own toast but only one person could use the salt so make sure no other tables are eating boiled eggs when you start yours!!! The location is the best thing about this hotel, next door are loads of cafes, bars and restaurants and a little further round the corner brings you to the main shopping area of Rennes.

The Hotel is fine but its front is on a street with a lot of partying on friday and saturday into the early hours. Apparently they tell you this when you book on the telephone and recommend that you book a more expensive room at the rear of the building but this info wasn't obvious to me on expedia at the time.

A reasonable hotel in a good location in the centre of Rennes. Reception staff helpful and pleasant. Paid under cover cark park close by. Little atmosphere, though. The main inconvenience, especially for those who have mobility problems, is that the elevator only goes down to the first floor, and one must use the stairs to get from the ground to the first floors.There is a goods lift to the first floor, but the assistance of the staff is needed to use it, and getting luggage up the passenger lift from the first floor is made difficult by its tiny size.

Room had a good baby cot in it (as we had requested when booking) and was very quiet despite the busy eveninv outside. Comfortable beds, plenty of good linen, nice and dark with curtains drawn, small but useful mini bar. Excellent shower, nice shower gel. We couldn't find any fault - all we needed for a comfortable, hassle free overnight stay. Left without breakfast as we were heading to ferry in St Malo. (65 mins) We hope to return!

Just used as a stop over, good location in centre of old town, nothing much else to add really, typical French middle of the road place - reception person friendly, room was okay, tiny lift, cheap enough, parking underground pretty close. Didn't bother with (expensive) breakfast, it's cheaper and more interesting to wander into town to get food.
