Wonderful in every possible way

First of all: our host Brian. He is the perfect person to make anyone feel at home, takes time for his guests, is allows available and not pushy, prepares the best pancakes, has the nicest smile, and so on… I would not have wanted to stay anywhere else. Also, the household-ladies ‘meisies’ were wonderful : kind, friendly, kept our room perfectly clean and also made us feel very welcome. The location is very good, not too far from Cape Town itself, nice and cool by the seaside, safe and restaurants/bar within walking distance.

Classically beautiful Cape Town stay

We received an exceptionally warm welcome from our host who then showed us our room with the absolutely classical view out over the bay to Table Mountain. What a lovely stay and the best French toast for breakfast ever.

I could not really fault anything at all except possibly the shower which leaked a little onto the floor but this was a minor inconvenience.

The most magnificent views of Table mountain & Robin island from the rooms - was so thankful for the upgrade!! Comfy beds, clean house, helpful & friendly host who makes one delicious breakfast! And a super awesome furry receptionist!

Couldn't access TV channels so missed out on the rugby game but really not an issue when you have a gorgeous view to enjoy instead.

A beautifully maintained guesthouse with stunning views, warm hospitality, and personalized touches

We had a wonderful stay at Gull on the Bay Guesthouse. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and offered stunning views that we'll never forget. Our host, Brian, was incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. He made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Each morning, we were treated to a warm, homecooked breakfast made with care -such a thoughtful and personal start to the day. We also really enjoyed chatting with Brian-he was a great source of local knowledge and gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do around Cape Town, which we really appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

The room was big with a view over the ocean and Table Mountain. It was close to Eden Bay and the restaurants in bloubergstrand. No issues with load shedding. Brian is a good host. Answers all questions and knows a lot about the area. He cooks the breakfast in the morning. .

Excellent location. Brian was a great host from meeting us at our vehicle, suggesting places to visit and making sure we were comfortable. The breakfasts were great with a wide range to choose from. I liked Everything, Brian was the most welcoming host, spotless accommodation with a great layout, phenomenal views of table mountain and Robin Island, beautiful rooms,comfy beds, Fantastic breakfast, safe neighbourhood. I honestly tried hard to find fault and couldn't. I will definitely be booking again. Loved it.
