Really bad service

Nothing

Real bad service, room not clean, iron burnt, aircon remote faulty, shower door scratching the floor tiles. Our belongings are missing we left behind a few hours ago. We telephoned and they informed us housekeeping did not hand in anything. No proper management available over weekends so let’s see what tomorrow (Monday) brings.

Dreadful hotel curry (fatty chewy meat), took over an hour for room service to arrive (and had to call multiple times), unable to book a massage all day.

Relaxing, with an amazing view of table mountain

The drainage wasn’t great the sink was blocked and the shower was also actually blocked so the shower was very nice but not comfortable since the water wasn’t moving. Also please sanitary bags and bin wasn’t provided.

A beautiful experience all round!

Fantastic location, very warm and friendly staff who made a special fuss of us for our honeymoon. Very comfortable room with breathtaking views. Honoured our special request for a high floor, nice pool and jacuzzi, and reasonable prices for food and drink

There really isn’t anything we didn’t like but some constructive feedback would be to add some hooks in the bathroom area to hang towels on, and more bubbles in the jacuzzi

Your Breakfast was excellent I real enjoyed myself. You made my mother's Birthday out of this world, She was very happy. The stuff made sure that we are well taken care off, Thank you for excellent hospitality.

Dinner at the Waves. Don't do it!!!

Location was great. The Porters were excellent but that's where it stopped

Dinner at The Waves Restaurant was diabolical. Table for 4 - 1 meal incorrect because waiter thought he heard something else but had not checked order with us. This meant 1 person had to wait ages for their meal whilst others had to eat. no manager appeared to apologise. when the final meal arrived, everyone else had already finished. The Salmon was still half frozen and not cooked!! Again, no manager until we asked to see one. a quick apology and off they went after offering a desert for the one diner. Waiter returned with desert menu for one. did not offer any deserts for other diners or coffees etc. just ignored us. when we paid the bill (which was very high) the waiter didn't bring the change and again just ignored us until we left. he assumed the tip even though the service had been so shocking. I honestly would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. We were there for 1 night and to see family we had not seen for years. this was meant to be a special meal.

The location of the hotel was amazing. Beautiful view of the table Mountain, the city, robben island and the ocean.. lovely location. The rooms were amazing with a very strong WiFi. The gym is well equipped.

Basement lift was out of order at 10pm Saturday night. We had to take the stairs to the lobby but lobby door was locked. Ended up in a service area where a staff member kindly assisted us back to the hotel main lobby. Not fun as we walked about 4 flights of stairs from the basement parking level. Lifts were working normally on Sunday morning

Happy i stayed at BBBH and could walk to the beach. Overall great experience

The breakfast on day 1 was the best. The puree and beetroot smootie shot at the breakfast entrance was everything! Then on day 2-3 and 4 the lemon shots were less interesting but still really good. The buffet spread was exceptional. I didnt wish for anything else. Maybe pankaces but it was good. the pastries were at times dry.

the dry pastries, the tiny juice glasses. I eventually used my tea mug to get juice. The batch counter in my bedroom had residue from a previous guest. The cleaning was not imaculate. I could see a soap/gel stain. I couldnt find the restaurant menu on the tv as indicated so i had to call reception to ask for options. Then i ordered my food and it took forever. Aparently theres a long cue after 9 for room service. eHailing drivers all got lost and said the pin took them to the back instead of the front of the hotel.

Bed mattress a little bit too worn for my liking. Lift from basement parking to reception did not work when we arrived. Too many stairs for my elderly mother. Working again when we checked out, so all fine.
