Consider it a "home away from home". You are treated as friends/family instead of guests.

Breakfast was very good and the location was great...close to the beach and restaurants. Sharl and Jennifer were excellent hosts and went beyond the call of duty. I'd definitely stay there again and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this B&B.

A great host and the breakfast was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and had all the needed facilities. Located 20-25 minutes to V&A Waterfront.

It was alright

The lady of the house was very friendly and helpful. The garden area for breakfast was cute.

The two double beds, bath and shower are all in one room. As in there are no walls for privacy, so people had to leave the room if someone wanted to get dressed or shower. Only the toilet had a door.

The guest house was very pleasant and Jennifer was attentive and lovely.

The rooms was equipped for the family but the space was very limited and would likely be more comfortable for few people. Maybe better to have stayed in two rooms

Sharl and his mom Jennifer were so welcoming, having a chat over breakfast was really nice. Good thing there was an aircon in the room, as the nights were freezing cold. Very good location as well

A beautiful day at the Mandalay

Firstly the warm welcome we received upon arrival accompanied by the fact that we were immediately made to feel that we are just not another client but we are special. The facilities and location setting is just absolutely on point with an all access to all facilities which made it feel more like home than just another guest house vacation The breakfast was one of the highlights of the weekend, compliments to the chef!!!! , But all in all there is nothing not to like. Our family had a great time, we would definitely go back again and recommend it to anyone wanting to break away from the rushes of life.

Everything in life is not perfect but for us this was the perfect weekend.

Fantastisch

De kamer was zoals we hadden verwacht en alles wat we nodig hadden, was aanwezig. Lekkere douche en heerlijk bed! (dit hebben we echt heel vaak anders meegemaakt) Jennifer & Sharl zijn fantastische hosts die er alles aan doen om je thuis te voelen. Jennifer maakt iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt en er is meer dan genoeg! Mooi zwembad aanwezig en de locatie is top! We hebben leuke en diepgaande gesprekken gehad met Sharl & Jennifer en zijn als vrienden weggegaan :) Sander & Ilona
