Excellent stay for few days or longer, with exceptional owner and staff

Cozy guest house in a wonderful location

The location is great, in my opinion, the best option in Capetown - safer in comparison with the downtown, and the beautiful beach is nearby. Nice and cozy rooms, and a great, friendly host who is ready to help if needed. Thank you so much!

Could have been better.

Their pool was nice and their cleaning staff was friendly.

I didn’t like that there was no one when we checked it, the rooms were mixed up and then the management was quite hostile when directing issues that they might have been experiencing. I felt their interactions with us were hostile and it was unpleasant having them around because they made us feel as a group as though we weren’t welcome.

Amazing & peaceful.

Convenient and great location. The hosts were real welcoming and it felt really homely.

The only downside was the carpet in our Hippo room, it didn’t feel quite hygienic due to the stains. Other than that, everything was great.

Excellent, look forward to yet another return.

This was a return visit. We went back knowing what we would find, we were not disappointed. The warmth of our welcome was exceptional. The breakfasts were excellent. All of the staff were very, very helpful.

I like to keep abreast of current affairs. The TV in our room could only receive Netflix and similar. I know there was a tv in a public room downstairs where I could have seen live tv news. However, given that I'm often getting dry from the shower or getting dressed as I watch - not for a public place!

Great B & B - Super hosts

The hosts are exceptionally friendly and stayed in contact. Breakfast was great, room decent size, all clean and comfy. Very charming guest house, love the little outdoor area with a pool and lapa. All well maintained. Very good, can only recommend.

It's a personal thing, I prefer a whole appartment to a room in a guesthouse. But that's just me, the stay was excellent, parking with a large SUV was a little cramped but doable.

Ronnie and Thelma made our stay perfect. They couldn’t have been more attentive and always available for advise and requests. The staff Tony and Mr Beard were gems and we must not forget the owners faithful dog Allie. 😁😁

Perfect location

This guesthouse is run by friendly owners along with their friendly dog. Check-in was straightforward, all details how to get access to the room were clearly communicated, and requests by e-mail and Whatsapp received almost instant response. The beach that provides the postcard-picture views on Table mountain is just two blocks from the guesthouse, and it is absolutely safe to walk around in this area. Two blocks away you'll also find a small shopping center with a Woolworth deli that provides high quality food and wine. My room was equipped with fridge, toaster, microwave oven, electric water kettle, and cutlery.

Just a minor drawback: the WLAN was blocked for phone calls via Whatsapp.

Perfect guest house in a tranquil location

I really enjoyed my stay. The owners make this place feel like home. They are very kind and friendly and they go the extra mile to make sure that you enjoy your stay. There is a braai (BBQ) facility too with a lovely pool to relax at. The room was very clean, and has a fridge which was a great addition. The shower has good pressure. Netflix included. The bed was comfy. It's a 4 minute walk from Seattle coffee which sells excellent high-quality coffee as well as Woolworth Food (a premium supermarket) which is very convenient. The internet/ wifi was reliable

Location is great, room is very clean, serviced daily. We had the tiled floor room (Leonard/Green) Good value for money.

Lack of inside parking, woken up to be asked whose car is whose, because someone had been parked in. Has a “commune” vibe, and therefore gets a bit noisy, especially evenings and mornings.

The place was exactly as depicted on the website. It was absolutely beautiful. Jo was a great host as well. Even gave us Breakfast for free on my birthday. That was really nice. The property is also very close to the beach and shopping complex which is great. A wonderful experience overall.

On arrival, we weren't given a general tour of the place (e.g. where kitchen amenities, pool etc) but the staff was absolutely kind and welcoming

Prepare to be impressed!

I don't recall asking for a quieter room? I booked the best value for money place I could find and extremely last minute due to circumstances. So I never expected such luxury. I was truly beyond impressed with the quality of the features. The decor and all of the facilities. Wish I didn't have to arrive so late so wasn't able to fully enjoy all of the unique features.

A comfortable stay

It was nicely furnished and very clean.

I am not sure if I was checked into the studio or a standard room. The rate on the site was R583. Then I wondered why I paid 835. I then saw that I paid 250 for cleaning. I would have preferred if the cleaning fee was part of the rate shown. I book most Saturdays for 1 night as I need a place to rest on my day off. So I have a budget cause it's every weekend. So I understand that people can charge a cleaning fee and I believe it should show in the rate when you choose a place. The room was nice and clean. It just seemed like a standard room as one definitely can't cook in the room I stayed.
