Paradise In Plattekloof Glen

We liked the fact that it was so close to home but when you set foot into the place, you forget how close you are and you're just taken to this beautiful resort like dream destination. The place was super clean, modern and tidy. The bed was so comfortable. There was a fan to keep us cool. There was parking inside for my vehicle. We just really love the place.

The only thing I can comment on is that we couldn't find the remote of the TV. We did ask the gentleman but he never came back to us. I never like checking out so early but I understand that most visitors probably travel for work purposes.

The reception said If we don't want to take that room in Bellville the will be no refund

I felt like it's a scam because caline told us is fully booked on the day we suppose to check in and no refunds for us they transfer un to Bellville in a room for 2 adult but we were 6 we slept on 3 quarter bad all of us This is bad

Not getting our money back because we book in time they knew there will be no space for us they didn't let us know in time so we have option B

I had a very bad experience with them

II was given a terrible room with a smoke without a robe, the towel was wet, they frustrated me a lot, when my hubby arrived and talk with them they changed the room to a beautiful one. They refused to do us breakfast though I showed them in my booking, then on the 27 August when we were checking out they were saying they were preparing our breakfast and we already called the Uber to the airport and leave.

I like to get the accommodation I book and pay for , no breakfast either...confusing!!

The beds in the units we eventually got (not what I booked and paid for) were amazingly comfortable!! Would like to know the make!

I booked the apartment but when we got there they said no it was occupied. I mean, what??? They tried to give us accommodation where the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area (used by the staff in the office too!) were all separate, so you had to come out of the bedroom to use them. No!! Eventually they gave us 2 separate units next to each other that had en suite bathrooms. We booked breakfast for 9.30am (how many eggs do you want etc). Next morning we waited outside..nothing. Went to the office...breakfast? No...the lady has already gone....what??? They also use lekkerslaap for bookings. Staff need more training on how to navigate the systems. Cell number never gets answered, goes straight to voicemail...the only phone number available. Oh and yes they have a jacuzzi outside but it takes 7 hours to heat up and you cannot phone anyone to organise it beforehand so....no they don't have a jacuzzi lol!

The beds was all very nice and crsipy clean, plenty hot water and friendly staff

We did not enjoy the plastic lawn, plastic flowers, and artificial plants. I would say less would be more

1st of all the booking was mixed up we had to moved to another guesthouse and the person only called on Tuesday when we were supposed to move in on Friday. Not only that when i questioned the guy was vert rude and said I can cancel the whole booking

I enjoyed my stay

It is very beautiful and it’s exactly what you see on the pictures

They water was ice cold , I had to shower with cold water and there’s a lot more but I understand they are not fully operating yet
