Quiet pleasant location with everything you need for a short stay.

The property was in a good location, only a short walk to the nearest water bus station and outside of the tourist spots so quieter. The room was a good size and had everything we needed.

The check in time had a cut off of 6.30pm, which caused us some stress as we had delayed / cancelled trains throughout the day, which meant we had to buy a new ticket in order to be there before the check in cut off. Check in instructions could have been left on a message to save the stress. The room was slightly chilly, so we used blankets at night.

Recommended stay

There was absolutely great contact with Ca Bea staff before the stay. They were responsive, gave clear instructions. We were contacting them via booking before our stay to let them know when we'll arrive and the owner, Paola, waited for us. She gave clear instructions on the site of what's what in the room and she shared wonderfull recommendations of food, especially great family trattoria Pan e Vin not far away. Moreover, there was a binder with other places and recommendations of food and places to visit, which was also very helpful As this was end of the season Paola offered us the AC for free which was very nice addition. The room was generally clean. Paola also offered to hold our luggage if we wanted to stay in Venice a little bit longer after our check-out.

The only problem we had was some fungus on the AC unit and shower handle but Paola said that it will be cleaned.

Beautiful room w all one could want a retreat from the crowds of tourists

I knew my stay would be perfect when the owner unexpectedly met me w a warm greeting on the bridge across the canal to her guesthouse. Tho I had selected Ca Bea for proximity to ferry I would stay here again given the beautiful, thoughtfully appointed room in a quiet, nontouristy area of Venice. Was a nice retreat away from the crowds. Literally everything one might need or like for an overnite stay had been thought of— even a closet to leave your bags after checkout. The warmth & kindness of owner was much appreciated. I will be recommending Ca Bea to family & friends.

I loved everything about it. Given I had selected it for location within walking distance to ferry & water ‘bus’ I was thrilled to discover it met my desire to escape the usual crowds of tourists & to experience a ‘real’ neighborhood w cafes & shops frequented by residents. Yet I could walk to those sites taking in real Venice life on my way.

Disappointing

Good location.

No air conditioning. The windows were left open when we checked in. That night we realized there were holes in the window screens and were up most of the night killing mosquitos. Both had bites absolutely everywhere. Mattress was horrible.

Perfect place for us!

This property was a little gem, we had everything we needed for our few days in Venice. We had two rooms in Ca Bea, one for myself and my husband, the other for our son and his fiancé. Both rooms were completely private from each other, with their own en suite facilities. The place was spotless and the owners had thought of everything we needed, including a video of the area, so you could find more hidden gems (restaurants, places of interest etc) for all budgets. Would highly recommend!

Venice is overall a very unique city in the world, however, it is over developed for tourism..

1. pretty good location! 15 minutes walk from parking lot, 30 minutes to san macro square 2. quiet in the night. 3. Facilities are quite new, and the staff is friendly~

Fantastic stay

We had a great 1-night stay here. The host Federico is kind and accommodating. The property and room is clean and the bed comfortable. As other reviews mention, it is in a more ‘quiet’ area of Venice (5 min walk away from busy parts) which was perfect for us! Overall, we highly recommend

At this place we stayed 4 days. Location: 10/10 - This isn't a strict center of Venice so you can pass and admire the charm. There are shops and resturant. Cleanliness: 10/10 Other: Air conditioning paid according to the information on Booking - we used it for free - provided that the air conditioning will not work 24h but only if we are in the room (the owner himself came up with the initiative). Umbrellas - a day before the announcing rainy morning we got umbrellas (the owner's initiative). Entrance - code - additional advantage, when we were leaving at night. We're very happy with this place, great contact, zero difficulties. We recommend!

A beautiful, modern flat in a beautiful, old city.

This is a really beautiful apartment. Very clean and modern. Federico, our host, was very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. Check in was very smooth. In particular I really loved how the wifi passcode was immediately available via a QR code - so simple and easy. The shower room was really lovely; clean and modern. Amazing four poster bed. Tucked away in a quiet alley but still very well located for exploring Venice. A nice and very quiet locale. Overall this was a very satisfying experience and I would definitely recommend. The kind of apartment, that when you close the door, you immediately high-5 each other at pulling off a perfect find!

Tiny quibbles: sheets could’ve been softer and air con was a touch loud. But these are small things in an overall great experience and great apartment.

A cozy clean apartment close to everything and yet a great way to get away from all the busy at the end of the day!

The apartment was exactly what we needed to rest and relax from our travels. Federico was very welcoming and available for our needs. We loved our visit.

An Amazing stay in Venice

The room was really nice and clean. We also enjoyed the location a lot, we especially like that part of Venice since it is not too crowded but you can still easily get everywhere. The best part about this hotel though has to be the host. This is one of the best interaction we have had with any host on booking.com etc. We will be back!!

Ca'Bea is in a perfect and peaceful location; the Vaporetto (S. Basillio) is only a 2-minute walk away; it is easy to walk around; a supermarket, an ATM, and restaurants are nearby. Federico is such a nice guy. He is so kind and very helpful.

located in a great area, we could walk everywhere and there were loads of great places in the local area for breakfast, drinks and dinner. however it was nice and quiet and a little way from the busiest tourist areas of tue city. the host met us on arrival and was so friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information. highly recommend

nothing not to like. my only improvement suggestion would be some kind of mosquito net over the bed in the room we had. due to the air con being an extra charge (with rates going up so much I don’t blame them for making that choice!) we decided to keep the window open all the time to keep cool and we did get a few bites on the first night, nothing some repellent didn’t sort for the remaining nights but a net over the bed would be a good addition

The room was clean and represented accurately on Booking.com. Federico the owner/host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help us out. He provided excellent recommendations, called our next hotel on our behalf, and even set-up COVID tests for our journey home. Additionally, we really enjoyed Dosoduro, the neighborhood where Ca Be a is located. It is less touristy so you can enjoy the canals and beautiful architecture without running into a ton of tourists. Checking-in and out was easy and luggage storage is provided for its guests.

We liked staying here and don't have anything negative to say.
