Nice Venetian style

A really nice Venetian style hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, you need to walk 10 minutes to the closest vaporetto stop though so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage. Our room was very spacious and clean and it was looking right over the canal (a dream!), the staff was also very professional.

Our bed had two singles joined together which wasn't very comfortable. Breakfast could be improved.

Nice cosy Appartment and helpful staff

The apartment has a good view and was very clean with all the facilities. It overlooks the Canal.

The only downside I would say it was in the 4th Floor without lift

Excellent choice if you want a romantic Venetien experience away from the crowds.

Location was awesome. Right on one of the smaller canals in the University area; away from the tourist crowds, but plenty of restaurants. An easy walk and an even easier vaporetto ride to San Marcos, shopping, and other attractions. Staff was very helpful in all respects. Nice breakfast. A very romantic Venetian holiday!!

The upside of being on the canal was the whole Romantic Venice Experience vibe. The downside was mosquitos -- a minor inconvenience.

Wonderful stay with amazing memories

The breakfast selection was delicious, thank you! I loved the location - away from the hustle and bustle, but still within walking distance of the main attractions. The size of the rooms and the decor was amazing - It felt indulgent and beautiful for our first time in Venice. My only query is that the aircon didn't work and it was BOILING at night time, impossible to sleep and when the windows were left open to let in cool air, we were attacked by mozzies. Overall great experience and fabulous memories, thank you!

Spacious bathroom, clerk who checked us in gave us a paper map of Venice. A/C worked well.

No coffee! Murphy bed - not like the photos. Our room was across the street from the main hotel. Felt like the poor relations.

Clean, classy, quiet

The location was perfect for us - far from the crowds, still walkable to key sights of Venice. The place was cool and clean with gorgeous, well maintained marble details. Beautiful modern bathroom. Classic old building with tall ceilings, decorated in that OTT Venice style! Oh, and close to La Vacaria - AMAZING food and service. Stay here just for that :D

Booking gave me an option to choose "1 extra-large double bed" instead of two singles and what we got was a tiny double. Old springy thing too so we kept bouncing each other awake with any small movement. Limited bedding too, just one very thin pillow each and no spares in the storage chest in the room. And another hotel room full of lights! The AC and wall sensor lights were so bright I had to prop/hang clothes over them to get a dark room to sleep in.

Great little hotel to enjoy your time in Venice!

Great staff, nice room, and convenient location. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic! The front desk staff can set up private boat transfers from and to the airport, which was very convenient. Good little restaurant around the corner with great pizza and pasta that we were able to bring back to the room.

Lovely staff!

Amazing staff, so caring and understanding. They gave us great recommendations for food and places to visit. The room was beautiful and spacey, too.

The only thing I would change is the sheets if the waether is cooler. They were super thin, like there was only a sheet cover. I feared I will be cold all night but it was fairly okay since the weather warmed up when I travelled.

Room was beautiful, bathroom was very well equipped.

Breakfast was very scarce, just a bunch of pastries, some cold cuts and raw eggs you had to boil yourself, definitely not worth 15eur/person. The staff was also unhelpful during checkout. When we asked for an invoice, they told us we should've requested it in advance at check in and if we have any complaints, we should send an email. Also note the location is 30 min away from major attractions.

Enjoyed the hotel

Was near the end of Venice we needed to be and handy for the water taxis. The checkin chap was really helpful and gave us great advice regarding the best way to get the most out of the water taxis and cost. Room was comfortable

Our room was on level 3 which did present a challenge without a lift. But check in chap helped us with luggage

The hotel has a great location

There are many beautiful Venetian spots and restaurants nearby, and it’s easy to get to the city center. The rooms are small but cozy, and the area is quite quiet. We were traveling as a group of three with a child, and there was a fold-out chair provided for the child. We unfolded it ourselves and shared our pillows and blankets with them, but overall, we liked the hotel. The croissants at breakfast were pretty good.

The only thing missing in the room was a mirror.

I like that its quiet and just beside the canal. They have a public water taxi just around 5-7 mins walk. Its abit further than the duomo but you can just take the water taxi. The hotel is clean and a mix of classic and modern design. It doesn’t have a lift, so anyone with big luggage be aware. The hotel staff was very attentive and kept on messaging us to offer a private taxi services. We are glad they did. I dont advise walking with luggage from train station santa lucia to the hotel. It’s a hassle because venice has a lot of bridges and stairs.

Not their fault, but day we arrived the water taxi driver didn’t drop us off at the hotel but about 2blocks away. When we left for airport the water taxi picked us up in front of hotel.

Must place to stay in Venice!

Excellent place to stay when in Venice, service in the front desk was very good, the breakfast was 10€/person per morning, great start for the day. Nice and quiet surroundings by the canals, it was lovely to stay the night in a more quiet place after heactic days with ’millions’ of other turists every where else. The decorations of the room were beautiful, just as in pictures!

The bed & pillow were too hard for my taste, but these are always matters of opinnion. I would have given 10 points with out this!

A quiet retreat in Venice

The staff was accommodating and kind and went out of their way to help us. The location was outside of the center, but it was quite nice to return to a quiet area after the hustle of Venice in the summertime. The room was clean, comfortable and a good place to retreat to from the heat.

No laundry on-site, and we couldn't get it taken out because the off-site services were not open on the days we were there. Small complaint, we loved our stay.
