Alison was very friendly. Loved the style of the old building with all of its history. The rooms was very comfortable with period furniture but a modern bathroom with the absolute best shower and toiletries. The full Scottish breakfast was lovely and the apple juice, from the apples grown in their orchard, was to die for. The best I have EVER tasted.

It is absolutely no reflection on the property but my elderly mum did find the circular staircase a bit daunting. Me -I loved it. Made me feel like I was living back in the era of the home.

The Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The house is around 200 years old and is kept in very good shape. The rooms are very cozy. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is phenomenal. All in all 10/10 recommended. And try her homemade Jams😁

We LOVED our stay at Lossiemouth House. Alison and Hugh are perfect hosts. Would love to come back.

Breakfast was fabulous. My husband is an eggs Benedict fanatic and he LOVED it. Everything was fresh and delicious. Everything was homemade. Even the coffee was fabulous.

Th only thing I would say would be our bed mattress. It was a bit tired and lumpy. But we managed.

Special stay in Lossiemouth

The house has got so much history, the room so tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The private huge bathroom was a nice surprise. Alison and Hugh were very welcoming, helpful and considerate. We absolutely loved the breakfast. They also stated useful information about the area.

What a lovely find.

Everything was excellent. Lovely hosts. Lots of extra touches, like homemade shortbread. The breakfast was exceptional with homemade jam, granola and even butter. We loved the porridge 😋 and the cooked breakfast. Our room number 5 was extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. Good off road parking on site. Hosts very helpful re local area.

Fabulous!!!

Absolutely EVERYTHING. Lossiemouth House is quite simply STUNNING. It is set in what I can only describe as a quaint village with beautiful scenery and exceedingly kind people - everywhere you go. The hosts at Lossiemouth House, Alison & Hugh are very welcoming and engaging - so much so that we now class them as friends. As a couple we cannot wait to stay again 🥰

The location is very good, near to the sea shore and a lot of restaurants and pubs. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast was delicious.

The living area is not open for the guests and there are no other place in the house where you can sit and relax (like in the other guest house in the region).

Warm and welcoming stay!

Arriving at this perfectly situated guest house we were welcomed very warmly by Alison who showed us our huge, bright room and huge ensuite bathroom. You could feel the maritime charme immediately. Alison gave us a very good tip for dinner. Lossiemouth House is a few steps away from a great beach. You can have nice walks enjoying a town that obviously is not discoverd by tourist so much and is therefore still a secret tip. After a very relaxing night Hugh cooked us a perfect breakfast. You can have the full scottish breakfast or a "light bite". Try their delicious porridge, it is an experience for all senses. Alison and Hugh are perfect hosts who are lookking for their guest's needs. They made us immediately feel being welcome and made our short stay excellent.

Alison & Hugh are simply fantastic hosts of what is one of the best B&B’s I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean with lovely home made and locally sourced touches. I’m still dreaming about the full Scottish breakfast, home made apple juice with ginger and marmalades. Thank you both for a lovely stay. We’ll be back again soon.

Fabulous

Beds were super comfy and the room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was great - we loved the mirror!! - and the shower pressure was really good. Toiletries were of very good quality. Alison and Hugh were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were very tasty and cooked to perfection, and my son particularly enjoyed his 'off-menu' pancakes on our second morning 😊 We'd definitely stay here again!!

Alison and Hugh were the loveliest of hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and had lots of information on the local area, and further afield, to plan activities and sightseeing while travelling. The room and ensuite were gorgeous. Breakfast was great too.
