Golf View Hotel

The room was lovely and clean, well decorated and stylish. The view from the room was superb overlooking the beach and sea. The water in the fridge was a lovely touch. Large bathroom with lots of space and large shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great choice of breakfast items from cold buffet to different types of hot items to order. Cooked to perfection.

An enjoyable stay

Location was excellent. We had a lovely big room which was very clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good.

All the staff were very efficient, however, a bit more personal interaction would have made our stay extra special

Fabulous hotel with fantastic views out to sea

This was the second time that we've stayed at the Golf View Hotel and the quality of this establishment was superb. Our room was first class with a view over the sea and the golf course. Our breakfasts were first class and well worth the price paid. We also arranged for four guests to dine with us on one of the evenings and the meals were out of this world, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. All the staff worked their socks off and couldn't have been nicer if they tried. We will definitely look to book this hotel again in the future.

Disappointed we paid extra for a room with a view, so it ended up being a family room. The sea view was through a window

Location in Lossiemouth was good.

The room we were allotted was supposed to have a sea view. The view was through a window only 1 foot wide! We paid extra for a room that had a sea view and that meant it was a family room.( extra expense too) When I asked if there was another room with a better view the receptionist indicated it was my fault for not phoning them and requesting a different room. It was my fault for booking through booking.com The room was hit by a golf ball at one point. The hanging area for clothes was small and partially blocked by the TV. The electric sockets were awkward.

Gorgeous hotel in a really wonderful part of Scotland. The views and setting are just perfect.

The location was stunning, the views from my room were breathtaking. The room was much bigger and more lavishly furnished than I had expected. The telescope in the room was a great touch - sadly the dolphins weren't around during my stay.

It didn't bother me, but for those not aware the nearby air base conducts flights at irregular hours (it's part of the UK frontline air defence response) which while not overwhelming (I heard one night flight) is something that any visitor to the area needs to bear in mind. If you sleep lightly and head to Moray, best to bring ear plugs just in case the base is busier.

Liked the room and its outlook …we only had one night with you so didn’t try your catering but the reception we received was good and the staff were helpful We didn’t take breakfast The walk from the car park with luggage was manageable but would have been uncomfortable for us had we had more luggage

It was a good two nights stay and food and restaurant very good. Staff friendly and helpful.

We were in an annex which was ok but steep steps to reception with no inside access from annex to hotel. The room was clean but pillows very uncomfortable and despite changing them still uncomfortable. Remote control was mucky and requested it to be cleaned which they did.

Short break in lossiemouth

Had a lovely evening meal looking out at the sea, a good breakfast too. Our room was very nicely furnished , I liked the tartan carpets, and roomy. A modern bathroom and very clean. The staff were friendly.

The only thing missing was a lounge to sit in with a drink afterwards, but there was wine glasses and a fridge in our room.

Lovely location, Lovely staff, We weren't planning on visiting the dining area but by god are we glad we did! Food was delicious and prices were reasonable View from the room was gorgeous! Looking straight out over the beach and water.

Car park is a little awkward to get into (Come from the High St direction, not the airfield direction!, but that's a VERY SMALL dislike!

Beautiful place best short trip hotel we have had in a while.

Rona and the staff were incredible with us, amazing us both. Accommodating and were given a room upgrade to their best room due to the hotel being quiet after the recent music festival. The room we got I would definitely book again. Stunning large bay window over looking the golf course and beachfront with the windows open you could listen to the waves crashing. So relaxing. The room was spacious and inviting with a lounge area bay window seating area, large king sized bed and large bathroom with walk in shower. The place was spotless and had everything you would need. The restaurant downstairs had amazing meals on offer with all the staff going above and beyond to keep the very busy restaurant moving with ease. Possibly one of the nicest stays we have had at a hotel for a while. Will definitely be back.

Room was small as was the bed (for two). Bar was supposed to be open until 11pm, we came back to the hotel at 10.30pm and it was closed which I can understand if it was midweek but this was a Saturday night.
