It's perfect in all sides

Very communicative, friendly and professional staff, fantastic super affordable price, location very close to the sea and the center, clean and comfortable environment and a beautiful veranda that was directly connected to the garden.

Amazing! So wholesome

This place was amazing. I had a view of the water and the mountains which I did not even expect. Dubi, the host is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Made me coffee and made me feel so comfortable. The property is in such a peaceful spot. Facilities were spotless, the bathroom was always clean and my room was neat and tidy. The aircon was a bonus too in the summer heat.

A warm, authentic stay in a perfect location, with the best hostess!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I stayed at Dubravka’s House in Dobrota as a solo traveler and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dubravka is such a lovely, welcoming, and helpful hostess , she made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The location is absolutely perfect: quiet, safe, and just steps from the sea. There are small beaches right nearby, local restaurants with good prices and food just a minute’s walk away, and a fantastic bakery only 10 minutes away on foot. Walking into Kotor in the morning was a beautiful and peaceful way to start the day. The house has a very homey vibe, with a dreamy garden where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. My room and bathroom were spotless, and the shared fridge was super handy during the summer. I also rented a scooter from Freedom Rent Agency, just 1 minute away, the experience was excellent and incredibly convenient. This was a truly authentic experience in Montenegro. Especially for solo travelers, Dubravka’s House offers comfort, warmth, and a perfect location. Highly recommended if you're visiting the Kotor area!

The host and proximity to swimming were great

The owner “Dubi” is definitely a 10/10, she is extremely nice and accommodating. You can’t beat the location in terms of it being a 2 minute walk where you can jump in the water to swim (it is about a 35-40 minute walk to the old town though). There is nothing in the area anywhere close to the price of the stay. There was a shared refrigerator to store some food in.

The mattresses in the twin bed room were not comfortable and personally hurt my back. There are five people for one bathroom, which for the most part was not too bad but something to consider (Dubi always kept it very clean). A shared or hot water kettle for the rooms would be nice. It’s a basic accommodation and is as advertised.

Lovely room with a welcoming host.

Dubi was a wonderful host and I greatly enjoyed my stay here. Lovely location right by a beach for swimming and a small supermarket which really came alive in the evening. Nice walk into Kotor old town (about 25 minutes) along the sea front. Room was clean and comfortable with a view of the mountains, and shared bathroom was clean too.

There was no aircon in the room, but I was provided with a fan. As long as you keep the shutters closed during the day and open the windows at night the room was a comfortable temperature when I was there (33'C outside daytime temp) but it might get too hot for you.

A great stay

The hostess (Ana's Aunt) was very welcoming and nice. Even without much English she was a big help. The single room was pleasant, clean, and comfy with a great view of a beautiful garden. Very walkable from the bus station but far enough that it was quiet.

If the shower had a shower curtain, it would have been perfect, but maybe that's just a cultural difference 😄

The place with perfect location

The location is just perfect. 2 mins to the sea, shop, restaurants. 30 mins from the Old Town. The host was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re travelling on budget and don’t mind share a bathroom. It’s really a perfect place.

Maybe a kettle would be nice to have in the room since there is a limited access to the kitchen :)

Dubi was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the property was very charming and clean. She even brought me coffee every morning when I got up.

It would have been nice to be able to use the kitchen to cook some basic meals.

Good value for money, but not holding up to expectations gained by other reviews

Okay, let's speak some true words here. Yes, the price is cheap for Kotor area. Yes, they are friendly here. And yes, the view on the mountains is nice

But it is not true, that the walk to Old Town or to the bus station is short. With my big backpack it took me at least 45 minutes from the bus station to walk to Rooms Ana. The truth is, that it is far. And this can be really punishing, when it is hot. Problematic is also, that Dubi can't speak English. So, the described friendliness of Dubi could not really find its way to me very easily. But yes, she's friendly and there is no duty to speak English. Also, it seems to me, that I was also describing stuff to them them. So, I explained them, which ATM has no commission, how und when bus tickets can be purchased at the bus station. It was and still is unclear for me, if the kitchen can be used or not. The bed is really relatively uncomfortable. And in the cupboard is still lots of old private stuff from the house, which is weird in my opinion. The shower is just working, if you put it on full power and then the water can sprinkle everywhere easily, if you do not sit down.

Welcoming and friendly host. I felt as though I was staying with a friend. Very clean, good WiFi, hot water with good pressure. Spent a lot of time drinking coffee and wine with Dubi :)

Quiet location

Clean comfortable room..The host was very friendly and gave tips on where to visit in the area. The house is less than 2 mins walk from the bay and nice restaurants. About 2km from the old town but a really nice walk along the bay with great views. Ideal if you want a quieter experience in Kotor

Best place in Kotor bay

Ana's aunt (Dubi, forgive me if I didn't spell it correctly) was wonderful. She came out to greet me when I arrived and I felt welcomed right away. She's a jornalist, a published writer and a very interesting woman. The place is actually not in Kotor but in Dobrota (about 30 minute walk from Kotor's old town). The walk is amazing and very enjoyable though. The room was clean, cozy and comfortable and it had a balcony where you can sit and relax while having a partial view of the bay. There's a Turkish restaurant just around the corner and other options nearby. This is one of the best places I've stayed! Thank you for everything!

As soon as I arrived at the hostel, Ana offered me lemonade. He has a very cute house. rooms are clean. If you want to swim in the sea, only 1 minute walking distance. in a quiet location. There is no bar or entertainment place to make noise around. I slept very comfortably here for 3 days. Ana helped me during my stay at the hostel. Thanks for everything Ana.

An excellent place to stay in Kotor

Dubravka is a great host who makes you feel at home! The area is very nice with good restaurants just around the corner and a beach for swimming. There’s bit of a walk to the old town but you can rent a bike close by to easily move around (it’s a nice walk too and not too far away).

Dubravka is one of the best person i meet in my life. She has wonderful personality and kindness. She is truly exempl how real 🇲🇪 Montenegro people look like. She is real crnogorski patriot but respectful to everybody and anyone who was her guest. If there were more people like her this world would be much better place to live. The best holiday I ever had

I am traveling frequently to Montenegro, especially to the Montenegrin coast, which I visited various times. In all these years, I have never had such a pleasant stay as in Rooms Ana. The whole house exudes the warmth of home, cleanliness and tidiness. From the first impression, immediacy and cordiality of Ana and her family, and then to the overall - the atmosphere in the house, Dubravka - the host, who with her energy brought me closer to the charms of Dobrota and the Bay of Kotor... It was simply impossible not to fall in love with this place. I do not change my destination in Montenegro anymore. :) I'll see you soon!

Excelente estancia

La amabilidad de Dubi, te hace sentir como en tu propia casa. No pensé estar tan agusto y superó mucho mis expectativas. Dubi se implica muchísimo en hacerte la estancia lo más agradable posible. Te aconseja lugares, está pendiente de todo pero sin ser intrusiva. La casa está impoluta, es como estar en casa. Agradezco mucho su amabilidad y lo cuidada que me sentí en su casa. Sin duda volvería.

Hacía mucho calor, es cierto que hay ventilador pero no da mucho aire. Por lo demás todo correcto.

Buena estancia

La casa estaba muy limpia, el baño es compartido pero se ve siempre limpio.

La habitación es muy cálida, sin aire acondicionado no se puede estar y cuando duermes te cae encima por lo que si lo tienes encendido te cae el chorro encima, pero si lo apagas hace mucha calor.
