Food and service were amazing.
We liked everything.

We booked this place on recommendation from our travel agent. The staff other than the manager were really nice to us and tried to help until 'Basil Fawlty' got involved. The setting is as good as it looks in the photos, but this is not 5 star accomodation. We got gaslit and lied to after we complained about the room being uncomfortably hot and the air-conditioning being turned off.
One of the main reasons we booked here was the listed and advertised room facility having air-conditioning. We are hot sleepers and need a cold room to get good sleep.
The daytime temperature was forecast to be 24c. Upon checking in we found the room to be stuffy and called the front desk. She was very attentive but informed us the air-conditioning has been intentionally turned off and only heating was available through the central air (which I had turned on in attempt to cool the room down).
We were told to keep the air off and room would cool down naturally. It didn't. We could not get any sleep due to the heat and lack of circulating air. The next day we decide to check out first thing because we felt we were promised an air conditioned room and we were not provided what we had booked. If you cant get sleep because they've decided to turn the airconditioning it's not going to be a pleasant stay.
The staff put us on the phone with the hotel manager who was arguing with us about every irrelevant point, like "but we turn the airconditioning off for October" buddy it's hot out and it doesn't matter, you offered an air-conditioned room and didn't deliver it. "Oh but we have other guests (in a hotel of 12 rooms btw) who want more heating, we have to consider them as well". Is it legal to advertise having air-conditioning in rooms and then it's turned off?
So because you (supposedly) have someone else who wants a hot room, that means we can't have a cool one?
I honestly think they just turn the central AC off to save money straight up. Not very five star treatment. He still charged our credit card they had on file for the full six nights we had booked despite checking out after one due to their failure to provide a room with a sleepable temperature. He was unwilling to listen to us in the end so i hung up and we walked out. This experience tainted the last leg to our 6 week trip around the baltics. Awful

Fantastic rooms, amazing location with a great waterfront terrace and restaurant. The views are wonderful and it was a very relaxing place to be.
Nothing was too much for the staff, who were all really friendly and attentive.
No complaints, we just had a great stay!

The hotel is very attractive and has been designed well including a small spa and beautiful waterside area with very comfortable sunbeds and gorgeous outlook to the water. Also a lovely dining area overlooking the bay which is stunning. It is very clean and there are always staff cleaning and maintaining the property. Our room was on the small side but lovely with a cute balcony and a beautiful view. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The food offering was a little limited particularly at lunchtime if you preferred not to have a full a la carte meal. Bar food was available 1 minute away on the sunbeds but not in the restaurant area and we found the food sub par for the price point. we also requested a charcuterie board during the afternoon but were told we could only have this as a room service item which just seems very inflexible. The breakfast choice was quite limited but the hot food we had was lovely and freshly prepared.

Amazing sea views from the room and the dock. Amazing staff! They even made me a superb cake for my birthday. So sweet! Will highly recommend! So close to Kotor old town and they sorted out legit taxis for us. Great food and wide breakfast choices
Nothing springs to mind!

Traveling on business we came across this place by accident - we were delighted beyond measure - it was a really great surprise. Everything is great in this hotel: service, food, beach, place to swim in the bay, the view from the window is magical. The hotel is equipped with a spa and gym + indoor pool. An ideal place for a one-day rest after dynamic work as in our case but also for a longer vacation with the family. I will definitely come back here privately. I highly recommend.

Right on the water, the view is stunning. The location is out of the hustle and bustle

The property was clean and the location was excellent, set on the beautiful Bay of Kotor, with the old town 2km away. Staff were pleasant and helpful whenever we required something.
The rooms are relatively small and the balconies on the “0” floor (Rooms beginning with “1”) are much larger than those on floor “1” (Rooms beginning with “2”). Although the restaurant is excellent, it is pricey for what it is however that’s a small niggle.

Gorgeous hotel and location. Staff wonderful except for one, see below. Drinking water provided in the room daily. Bathrobes and slippers as you would expect for a hotel of this standard. Convenient parking. Other restaurants (more reasonably priced) nearby. Room service from snack menu available at no extra charge.
Staff on reception are wonderful, gave me a great recommendation of a smaller border with Croatia to avoid the queues (Vitaljina) and a great, deserted coastal road. Nice to have housekeeping service twice per day. Pool small but as the hotel only has 12 rooms we mainly had it to ourselves. The jets all over the pool were unexpected and a delight!
We were told by one staff member that the snacks menu, which had choice more suitable for my son (chicken and chips) was not available in the restaurant, hence we were not able to eat in the restaurant and I was not able to order from the full menu. An inconvenient rule with no basis, which made us feel unwelcome.
Outdoor pool is heated, it could have done with being heated one or two degrees warmer to be comfortable, especially as the sun doesn't hit this area later in the afternoon, but it was adequate.
Music at the restaurant/beach area was awful, bad cover versions of popular music, but this does seem to be the norm around Montenegro and Croatia, but it was so bad as to be annoying.
Expensive drinks and food as you would expect but not really much different from everywhere around, however I would have expected the cocktails to be made with fresh juice but they were not and therefore were not enjoyable.
Not the fault of the hotel but Kotor is extremely busy for traffic and people, very very long traffic queues even in May - be warned! Parking very challenging. However once you've battled that the old town is so charming.

Stayed for a week and used as a base to explore the country. Was a lovely walk into Kotor, but also enjoyed spending time relaxing in the hotel. Staff were amazing from the minute we arrived with little extras we were not expecting. They arranged a boat trip direct from the hotel so we didn't have to go into Kotor. Our rooms had amazing views and everything we wanted. The beds were super comfy too. And if you like unique then each room has very differing decor. We used the pool, gym and spa areas which are kept immaculate, as well as the loungers out the front. Breakfast was great and any requests were no problem. We will be returning for sure.
The restaurant menu wasn't to our tastes, which we would have enjoyed the views and service of dining there. A few more simpler items on it to broaden its appeal would have swayed us easily, but they obviously have very high standards in food as well as everything else so it matched the hotel perfectly. We could see it draws people to it who are not staying at the hotel, so I wouldn't actually want them to change it.

The staff were amazing, they could not do enough for you. Breakfasts were divine and the location of breakfast on the terrace was beautiful.
We had a sea view room and in my opinion it was worth the extra money. The view was breathtaking.
whilst the non sea view rooms are larger, I think I would prefer the view from ours.

The breakfast was not 5 star. the egg benedict was a poor resemblance what it supposed to be. The toast was not what you expect from such place. The fruit was not on ice and sometimes felt warm and not fresh. Only two types of bread.
7.0 / 10.0
The hotel is nice and fairly new, we especially liked the ‘beach’ area which was nice and quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice.
The beds were on the firmer side but we slept really well. Views from our balcony were beautiful!
The rooms were nice but there were no tea/coffee facilities which I would’ve expected for a 5 star hotel. I also wanted to iron some of my clothes and asked for an iron but was told this was not available and you had to pay for laundry service, which I also found strange. Staff were very nice but we had housekeeping knock on the door despite the ‘do not disturb’ being on and on one occasion staff entered without knocking - they were very apologetic but it puts you on edge.
Finally, food (not breakfast) and drinks were hit and miss, but I found this to be the case not just at the hotel but at all venues we ate.

the staff were so attentive, friendly and proactive. The spa and massage was fantastic. The view is Amazing, we were so relaxed this entire trip!
We were so thirsty because of spending so much time in the sun. A nice touch would be to provide one large bottle of water a day in the room for free. There was a water bottle dispenser on site, but we only were able to fill a small glass at a time.
