Nice, well appointed unit. Porch off master bedroom makes a nice room more special. Kitchen is spacious and comfortable - the four of us easily enjoyed cooking dinner in. Building was quiet and fairly easy to find. Be prepared for hauling luggage/supplies up the stairs - it's on the the 2nd floor of the house with a private entrance. Has appliances - need to bring coffee/tea/etc.
Parking is street parking and it seems tight there. Was able to find a spot close by. The only concern was that my plugged in computer had a dead battery in the morning - not sure if sockets in the master BR are controlled by the light switch or not, but that could have been a bad thing. Able to find another oulet that worked and recharged computer.

This unit which was termed a garden apartment was actually the top floor of the residence. There were outside stairs going to 1st floor level (which there was also a unit at the ground level) and then a spiral staircase going up another level to the "Garden apt". This unit seemed as though it was furnished by a designer. The artwork on the walls and other places was abundant and quite beautiful and much of it original art. The unit had everything needed to cook meals and enjoy them on the outside patio or in the kitchen. This was a very comfortable stay. We actually stayed 3 days after signing up for one additional day. Owners were easy to contact and returned texts and calls right away.
While watching a movie on my Netflix account near the very end the dish satelite service stopped working and continued to not work for the rest of our visit. Not how that happened as there wasn't any atmospheric disturbances and weather was calm. Parking is a real issue. Streets are very hilly and parking is quite limited. Our last two days we had to walk to our parking spot which was a distance uphill. It's also located on a street that can at times be noisy due to school zone and traffic.

- nice and helpful host
- beds were horrible, the mattresses broken
- you have to climb a lot even it seems in the center
- very limited hot water
- the owners live beside you and they don't like any noise
- to reach the bath you have to cross through the other room
