It is a super comfortable little house. It was accommodation what dreams are made off. I think by far my best stay ever. Would highly recommend it. Wish we had more time.
Everything was perfect.

As we are seniors, we did not like to go up steep stairs to bed so therefore we slept on the sofa downstairs.
There was no dedicated parking space for our Mini Valen. The surface for parking was very uneven and it was dangerous to climb up to the bed.
Would have appreciated a welcome basket with perhaps a chocolate, map and what to see in the Lofoten Islands.

The location is fabulous. We could walk for groceries and had great views on the deck. The place was well stocked and comfortable. The heated bathroom floors were a nice surprise.
The Wi-Fi is very poor. It dropped often even if you were next to the box. There is a tv and after much wasted time we found out it was malfunctioning- it only had 2 channels. The fuse blew and we spent an hour looking for the fuse box. Much of the frustrating elements could have been easy for us to handle on our own with a manual or guide. Instead we were asked to google instructions. We loved the place but as Americans it was frustrating to decipher the washer.

This is a cute little cabin right on the sea. Facilities were great and staff was responsive. The sleeping loft had a comfortable bed, but was tricky to get back down.

Rustic cottage full of character and charm, expect that and you'll be fine. It is quite remote especially for one person in rainy and snowy weather but I knew this going in and was still a lovely escape. Does need a bit of minimal work and repairs but overall a lovely regional cottage with a stunning view. Would stay again. Some confusion and difficulties in communications in days leading up to booking but everything worked out fine in the end.

Great location, updated, clean, easy access, and stairs down into the water.
It was advertised to have a sofa to sleep on, but it was quite uncomfortable for sleeping and there were no sheets provided.
There was a space heater, but it did not work.

We had chose the cabin because it's beautiful location and connivence. It's near a road but not noisy. The cabin is big enough for 2 families and 5 adults to stay. The kitchen and living room are spacious.
The parking is a little tight but manageable.

An idyllic little house at the the most beautiful location. So beautiful inside and out.

location and view. kids loved to sleep in the cozy (low) bedroom upstairs!
nothing really - it would just be nice to have better curtains in the bedrooms

Exceptional location and a comfortable stay in a traditional cabin with modern conveniences. Cabin was clean and as described. Cozy and cute, with added comforts like heated bathroom floors and appliances such as a dishwasher.
Staying in Reine is simply an amazing experience, I had to pinch myself every time when waking up and looking at the view! The cabins themselves are a quintessential part of the scenery. If you manage to climb the 1978 steps up to the top of nearby Reinebringen, you can see your cabin from there.
There's a grocery store just a short walk away for anything you need. Activities, restaurants etc are not far, there's also in nearby Sakrisøya.
Small detail but I would've liked more cutlery, mugs etc to be available, to not have to use the dishwasher after every meal. And – my own fault, should've realized it wasn't in the description – I was disappointed there was no washing machine. We're a family of five and need to do a load of laundry every other day. Hand washing was inconvenient. Couldn't find a plug for the sink so I ended up buying a plastic wash basin. Something to consider if you're a family and staying more than two nights.

The cabin was immaculate and beautiful both inside and out, the view from the cabin was breathtaking. Perfectly positioned in Reine, not far from the shops and some of the best hikes in Lofoten and some of the best views, as an amateur photographer, it was paradise. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming aswell. I couldn't recommend Valen cabins enough.

Much larger inside than it looks! Very cold freezer. Clean, rustic and a lot of charm. Lovely open space and very cozy. Perfectly located close to grocery store, not far from the ferry and hikes. We will definitely recommend your place to others!
Shower sometimes short on hot water, but understandable given that multiple people were using it. Not a problem at all. 🙂 Great water pressure and dishwasher was super convenient.

Location and views were unbeatable. Cabin was comfortable and warm. Had all we needed. Cosy! Very helpful and friendly staff over the phone. Thank you.
Access to bedroom was a little awkward, and maybe hard for some to access. Being both tall people, difficult to make up the bed with bedlinen supplied but not made. Did not stop us loving our stay.

Location, step out of the door can see the Aurora. Seaside, 3 minutes walk to the supermarket and bus stop@Andoya. Good for us without driving license.
Very beautiful little carbon.
Bed is too soft.
No place and no enough hanger for our clothes, trousers and jackets.

Beautiful location pretty central and 200m away from a big grocery store which was handy in low season with most restaurants closed. The cabin was beautiful literally right on the water and very cozy. Excellent views!
I had trouble putting the key back in the lockbox.

Wonderful and cozy wood cabin. The views from the windows and front porche were breathtaking.
Rooms are small but all you need is there. Beds are comfortable, heating works. Kitchen hast almost everything you need.
A mixer and a microwave in the kitchen would be of great help. Other than that, we were very happy in the house.

Location was beyond amazing , views were perfect
Cabin was very clean- we stayed in the mini valens with loft. Had a bathroom and kitchen with everything we needed and was spotless

The Living/diining room has space for our group of five people.
Bulbs are out of orders in two rooms (out of three). The small (tiny)bedroom does not have space even to put a luggage. I have to open my luggage in a living room. No heater equipped in all bedrooms. With two nights stay, we can live with it but quite disappointed though 😕

the position was great but for the money we payed at least you could prepare us the bed 😅

The location of this rorbua is fantastic. Sitting atop crystal clear turquoise waters with the ReineFjorden mountains as a backdrop. It’s no wonder EVERYONE stops to take pictures of it! Of us!
Close to road although actually didn’t hear the traffic us much as expected. Lots of people stop to take pictures and some times even just walk right up and onto the deck! Not cool. But I guess the price you pay for staying at such a picturesque place. Also, it’s a little dated inside, with few modern amenities but adds to the traditional fishing hut vibe.

Outstanding location, well presented and very clean.
There was nothing to dislike about the cabin

Lots of room and suitable for a larger group.
The views are beautiful but the kitchen and living room face the road and back side of other cabin. To enjoy the view you have to stay in the bedroom.

The Cabin is beautiful and characteristic , we were in 5 and it was confortable , the living room and the kitchen is big .

Cosy, nice view, warm.
Burned kettle 1 toilet paper dirty cushion in the leaving room and broken hairdryer.

it's located in the best place.
The only negative thing is that it doesn't have a washing machine! It would have been very useful.

Great place, perfect location. Water around the cabin is clear and wonderful.
It was clean and warm. We'll come back again!

The view dominates, but it is also a very comfortable, cosy place to stay. Also it is not one of these “disneyland rorbus” which seem to be taking over every village, but a place with some feeling of authenticity.
The parking is a bit tricky if all 3 cabins are occupied, but then again no real issue provided everybody cooperates and gives a little thought to others…

- Great location
- Cozy apartment (Mini Valen)
- The apartment was not that clean
- No parking for Mini Valen, only for the other apartments

Stunning location, superb views in every direction. Very comfortable and cozy. Spacious. We liked sleeping in the attic instead of the bedroom. Good private parking. We had one full day of rain and it was a joy to spend it in the cabin. Still great views but with comfort. Great privacy, you won’t even notice there are neighbors. Supermarket around the corner.
