Pretty mediocre for the price

Location and the view is perfect for a couple getaway in nature.

- Sauna didn't work at all - we raised the question few times to the company that maintains the cabins and asked for a janitor to come and fix it. Instead all we had gotten for few days was the same answer about checking the fuse box. We picked the place because of the private sauna and they couldn't fix it in time even tho they have admitted they had some problems in the past with it. Completely ruined our plans. - The place is very small, and with 3 people we had just enough space even tho it can theoretically accommodate few more people. Don't believe it.

Disappointing stay

We had some issues with our stay at Haukland beach panorama house. Firstly when we arrived at the site there was only two towels provided for our group of six. There were no washing tablets provided for the dishwashing machine and nor was there detergent for the laundry machine. Additionally all the remotes were missing batteries. So we could not control the led lights or the sound system. Soon after that we discovered that the only toilet in the house had some problems. Namely flushing system remained active even if the cictern was alredy full. On the second day we discoverd that the toilet bowl itself was overflowing. There was no blockage on our end. We had to shut off the main water valve to avoid flooding the house. We contacted the owner and learned that it was a known issue. After few calls back and forward they sent a caretaker to our site. After 4+ hours of waiting and new calls later it turns out the issue was marked as non-urgent and nothing was done to getting this issue fixed. When the caretaker finally arrived he provided some towels and tablets for the dishwasher but could do nothing about the toilet situation. The owner agreed to accomodate us at the different site. We had to cancel our evening plans in order to move to the other site. Sadly the second site did not meet our expectations. The house was considerably older and did not have a sauna which was a main reason why booked the original site. Some of us had to share a bed at the new site, because there was not enough single beds. Given the extent of the issues we experienced and the disruption to our stay, we believe some form of compensation would be appropriate

We really enjoyed the location, layout of the house and the sauna outside.

Nice rental, maybe the only thing is value for money that seemed not on par with some other rentals and the rate more focused on location only.

Amazing views

Quite pricey for the fact that you have to make your beds, don't have enough pillow cases and a not properly maintained fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. Also there is no towels or equipment for the sauna. However the view is stunning and it's very peaceful.

INCREDIBLE!

This was our favorite stay in Norway. I actually dream of having a house just like this one day. We adored the area and coming home here after a long day of hiking with the kids was perfect. My husband loved relaxing in the sauna in the evening. Everything was spotless and incredibly comfortable. Best stay that we’ve had in Europe! We would stay here over and over again. THANK YOU! ❤️

The big living room is amazing, warm, bright, and comfortable. The location is very practical if you want to base yourself at one place for the whole stay at the Lofoten. We stay here for 5 nights and loving every minute of it.

Trip of a lifetime.

Fantastic location, surroundings are just beautiful. Cosy and warm property with excellent facilities. If we needed help, someone was instantly on the other end of messages.

Upstairs was a bit tricky, especially with a child-the blinds etc on the floor.

Ok-ok stay w amazing view from the house

The view is superb from the house, but owner didnt cut the grass thus blocking the dollar view. Internet coverage was bad too due to location in the valley. Lastly water pressure is seriously bad leave us only with hot water

Exceptionally beautiful cabin in a breath-taking location

This place is simply magical. It is a beautiful cabin / house, furbished to a high-standard and with great taste. The view from the living areas are breath-taking and the outdoor seating area is perfect for watching the sunset. The location is idyllic, a quick walk from the incredible Haukland beach. Finally, the intermediary managing the property provided outstanding service. Mila, the person I connected with, is professional, polite and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall this is an excellent place and we would love to come back!

Es fehlen Schränke. Da wir jedoch nur zu zweit waren, haben wir das 2. Schlafzimmer genutzt
