Amazing place to stay and do not miss this at Ballstat

Amazing stay at Ballstad and my family demanding me a revisit to this place in future trips. Our first experience in cabins and this place is so cosy spacious clean neat and you have everything here view and best calmness at stay. Owners are very kind and supportive. We loved this place and will visit again.

The cabin offered stunning mountain and sea views, exceptional hosts, and an unforgettable stay in the heart of Lofoten.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful. The view of the mountains and the sea was breathtaking, and we enjoyed every moment there. Even after several visits to Lofoten, its beauty never ceases to amaze us. The hosts were exceptional—warm, caring, and incredibly easy to communicate with before and during our stay. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation and look forward to returning someday.

Served our purpose, but simple changes could have made our stay very comfortable.

Location. Had enough rooms for our family. Kitchen had all the utensils for preparing meals.

Only one shower. It seems like Sun never sets in Lofoton. Needed darker curtains. They provided one towel each. We had to wash it and wait for it to dry(no dryer). To their credit, they provided extra towels upon request next day. No AC. It was hot during that week. Looks like some units had AC. Ours didn’t. I suggest they install split ACs. Opening windows doesn’t help because of noise outside. This was true for all hotels all across Norway. Provide two towels for each person. I

Modern beautiful house

The house is modern and very beautiful. The kitchen so full with almost everything I need. And the view is amazing, I can see Northern light from the window, but because it's very near the mountain so the light almost behind it.

I don't like that we have to prepare the linen for bed, pillow and duvet ourselves. And if you don't do it, you sleep on the not clean bed, which most of us just go with it because we're too tired for a whole day trip.

Excellent lodge with very good view and location is good to start daily trips..

Communication to add an additional day was very difficult as company refers to booking.com and vice versa and at the end we had to book the additional night in another place. (although lodge was free, flexibility would have been helpful as nothing special was requested) 1

Pleasant

Owner might not know what should be necessary in the Appartment where family stay. No hair dryer, no item for cleaning and so on. However somehow cabin it self is absolutely super nice. We enjoyed a lot.

Goods, items and facility are not 100% matching with the Appartment where family stay for a week. At least owner provided the necessary items when I requested. That’s good. But best would be they are existing without my request becomes we spent certain time to have acceptable situation.

Ogólnie pobyt był w udany i mamy bardzo miłe wspomnienia!

Pięknie położony dom w przystani jachtowej i widokiem na górę, wodę i Lofoty. Dom ma ogrzewanie podłogowe, które można samemu regulować. Kuchnia jest fantastycznie wyposażona od przypraw po gofrownicę! Wszystkie potrzebne środki czystości razem z maskami na oczy były dostępne. Obiekt bardzo przyjazny z dwoma przestrzeniami wspólnymi, z tarasem gdzie można zjeść śniadanie, chociaż nam ze względu na pogodę, to się nie udało.

W 2 sypialniach na górze są bardzo wąskie łóżka podwójne, na których komfortowo mogą spać bardzo drobne osoby dorosłe lub dzieci. Byłyśmy grupą 7 kobiet i dwie z nas spały na kanapach w przestrzeni wspólnej, więc to był duży minus. Przestrzeń wspólna na dole ma rolety niezaciemniające, a przestrzeń górna nie ma wogole rolet ani zasłon więc dodatkowo zmniejszało to komfort spania.

Das schönste Ferienhaus, in dem ich jemals Urlaub gemacht habe.

Das Ferienhaus ist super geschnitten, perfekt ausgestattet, sauber, geräumig, liegt optimal, um den Süden der Lofoten zu erkunden und besticht insbesondere durch eine riesige Fensterfront mit Blick auf Hafen, Berge, Meer. Das war das schönste Ferienhaus, in dem ich jemals war. Auch Parkmöglichkeiten sind direkt vor dem Haus vorhanden.

Das Tüpfelchen auf dem i wäre eine Sauna gewesen, aber das ist Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Es war sehr sauber und modern. Heizung und alle anderen Geräte funktionierten tadellos. Die Aussicht und Lage am Meer sind grandios.
