We loved everything about the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the location was perfect—beautiful and peaceful by the lake (or sea), yet still close to the city. We were even able to see the Northern Lights from the balcony.

The view is superb. Even though it was raining during our time in Lofoten, the view from the house is still magnificent. I love the fact that it has 2 bathrooms, really convenient for us as a group to get ready comfortably.

We got to see northern lights! Very comfortable rooms and good view.

No fault of property. There is Napp tunnel construction going on near lofoton base camp. That means cars can only pass hourly at 2pm, 3pm etc if going towards Reine and A. Coming back is 230pm 330pm etc. Plan time accordingly.

The house is extremely nice, you have everything you need in it, from basics to whatever you could think of. The location is amazing and the host is great.

A lovely Rorbu facing the sea

The owner is very helpful in replying to my queries promptly. The whole property is very warm and clean; the interior design and taste in the living room and dining areas are very special. There is a huge deck facing the sea, so we could sit there to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. We are so happy to have two bathrooms! The master room has a big window and faces the sea, how romantic it is! We can park the car just next to the house, very convenient. This spot is near Leknes airport, so it is a good location to visit north of Lofoten without rushing to the airport to return the rental car and catch the flight. Four of us have spent three nights in this property, and full of memories, although we did not encounter the northern light.

There is a tiny issue that there is continuous noise (maybe the boiler) from the bathroom on the ground floor. Fortunately, we didn't hear it once we shut the bathroom door.

Great for northern light observation

The cottage is far beyond our expectation, full with facilities and amenities; kitchen, washing machine, etc. The porch is great for northern light observation and we finally saw northern light here. Cottage is in the area of Lofoten Basecamp without any reception, so it is a bit difficult to find for us at the first place.

-Rorbu is great for a group of 5-6 peoples with 2 bathrooms -Very easy to check in and out with keycode -Cozy common dining area with well equipped kitchen and a nice view terrace -Chance to see the aurora from the cabin >> we are lucky and clearly saw them dancing :)

Unforgettable house.

It’s clean and comfort in all rooms like a new house. Perfect view especially your balcony. Easy to travel around Lofoten Islands. Close to the start point of Offersøykammen there is a super cool hiking route.

I can not eat anything on the balcony because too many birds are waiting to join. But I understand that we live in a part of their areas.

It would be important and very helpful to describe the location better. To say look for the Skreda sign or Lofoten Base Camp. we drove up and the street address we received, looking for #32, when the street is hardly helpful. The unit itself is wonderful and the upstairs bedroom view of the mountains and water is one for the history books. We would have appreciated some coffee and filters.

A contemporary place, both comfortable and cosy

The location was superb with a magnificent view of the sea. We even got to see some northern lights. The house itself was really comfy. It has all the amenities and the washing machine was a bonus! The beds were the comfiest we have been in…altogether a really lovely place.

It would have been good to have some USB ports or a Continental plug with USB to use whilst at the property.

the host give a very fast response, easy check in, the room was nice, cosy and clean. we have a very large outdoor area. there are two big bathrooms. lovely living room, and very near to uttakleiv and haukland beach.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working but they came and check on us and gave us a sostitutive Wi-Fi outside. The price is a bit high but all considered is in the standards of the location.

Restorative facility in a wonderful place.

this is a wonderful place to stay in the Lofoten Islands. The facilities are excellent and the location is close to some of the most impressive sites in the islands

Google maps took us to the wrong address, so we would say it was hard to find. The scene from the back deck is nice, but some Rorbus are even better (although once you find the property, it is very convenient to many sites so it’s hard to criticize the location too much.

Location was great and quiet, easily accessible by car with parking included (you should preferably drive in Lofoten anyway). Getting the key out was a bit confusing at the start because they have a key box which i have never encountered before, but other than that the place was new, beautiful and a great option for those self catering.

Nothing bad to be said about the house itself! Perhaps the only thing is that I couldn't find the Sauna that others talked about despite walking around, maybe I missed it.
