Rorbu Skreda

The location of the apartment hotel is real good - near Leknes, on the shore of the fjord. New, clean and elegantly decorated apartment with a real kitchen and own terrace. Two bathrooms - one in every floor. Free parking. A heavenly view of the fjord from the upstairs bedroom - we could admire the light and beauty of the nightless night. Leknes has several good groceries where to find local fish and other food! Lovely beach nearby. On the advice of a friend, we visited in early June - it was already summer but not too many tourists. For some reason we did not reach the door code that was provided to us by the host through Bookings on time (it came 1,5 h later with email). Luckily we reached the owner by phone and she helped us immediately.

The apartment could have some instructions such as waste disposal and emergency procedures (there are different emergency numbers in Norway). The apartments in Rorbu are next to each other, so the terraces have a direct view of the other apartments. Fortunately, the neighborhoods were quiet and there was no noise. But during the busiest tourist season, things might be different.

The Rorbu Skreda was well maintained with full kitchen amenities,cooking condiments, oven, dishwasher and a washing machine. Waterfront view was awesome. A short walk to Offersoykammen trail.

The kitchen is fully equipped, the bedrooms are comfortable, and there's a great view. It has three bedrooms, and a great feature is that it has two bathrooms, perfect for families.

The pillows are a bit flat and the curtains don't block out the light. Coming during the midnight sun, might not be able to sleep well.
