Wonderful fishing hut in a breathtaking location

Our 2-night stay at the hut was spectacular. The location right at the fjord is one of the most spectacular ones you could ever imagine. The lovely interior and the small terrace with amazing views over the water made it absolutely perfect - rain or shine! Staying there was a truly magical experience and we're glad we had decided to treat ourselves for those 2 nights.

Great location with AMAZING views

Everything! The location of this cabin and the views it offers is absolutely amazing! Cabin offers coffee filters, soap, and dish soap. It also has all the dishes and cooking utensils you’ll need. You could literally stay here all day long without the need to go visit anywhere else. We also enjoyed our daily visits with Sully (our name for the seagull) and waking up to beautiful rainbows! This place is so magical! I only wish we could have stayed longer than 3 days! It was a great way to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our initial booking back in 2020 was a certain yellow cabin. We tried booking that again for this trip and it was unavailable. We are so glad we ended up at this property instead.

That the views are so beautiful that I didn't want to leave to explore the other parts of the island, haha! :) We had a day of rain, but with views like these, you dont even mind! I do wish the deck was more covered so that we could sit at the picnic table even when raining ;) But, there are absolutely no complaints about this cabin or the area it's in!! My advice is Book It! And stay for as long as you can!!

The location is truly spectacular. Right on Reine Fjord, so private but also so close to amenities. Maybe the best accommodations we've ever stayed at in terms of beauty.

Excellent location, very private balcony with exceptional views, really clean and cosy cabin. Great location with several places to eat within walking distance. Loved all the features like the little hut bathroom and boat in the ceiling. We had a lovely stay!

The septic tank smelt, possibly needs emptying. Otherwise we had a perfect stay :)

Lovely update on a traditional fisherman’s accommodation

On an idyllic Arctic island just a few km outside Reine. A compact but comfortable room which includes a kitchen. There is a great cafe in Reine - Bringenkaffe - for breakfast and some good restaurants on the adjacent island, which you can walk to from your Rorbu.

We loved being right on the water. The view from the living room and deck is fabulous.

Location, the view from the living room, the deck. That made the stay special. Great to be able to walk to Anita’s and to other rorbuers, especially Eliassen.

There was only one bedside light and nightstand in the bedroom. The kitchen did not have paper towels or napkins. Shampoo and shower soap not supplied. There was no instruction on temperature control. Not much space in bathroom for any items.

Location is amazing, the apartment measure was also super nice, spacious bathroom. Nice terrace and parking spot.

We bought some groceries to cook, but no salt or pepper. The coffee machine doesn’t match with the coffee pot so we couldn’t prepare coffee. Other than that, very nice

The best view in the Reine area

This cabin was one of the coolest I’ve ever booked! An old fisherman’s cabin turned cozy rental right over the water. And the view!! Seriously the best view in the whole Reine area! A whole over water deck and the views out the window were just phenomenal. The bed was very comfortable and the room darkening curtains were much appreciated during midnight sun. The area was very quiet even with it being off the main road. We enjoyed having a full kitchen to cook our own meals. Everything was clean and organized.

No paper towels or napkins. There were random people that walked on to our deck at the front of the cabin to take pictures of the mountains. It would be nice if there was a sign saying that the deck is private and for guest use only. These people also were looking at us through the windows - awkward!

A pricey once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Great location and unbeatable views. You’re right in the middle of possibly the most beautiful area in Lofoten. We loved gazing out at the mountains and water from inside and on the porch. Room was clean enough and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and generous, provided extra when we requested for additional set of towels.

You’re really just paying for the views. Not much is provided and similar to an Airbnb, you’re expected to wash up, put everything back in place and take out your trash when you leave. No coffee, salt/pepper, oil, kitchen paper towel, shower gel, etc, provided.

Gorgeous views from every window! Speaking of windows, we loved that they opened easily outward, so we could take photos without going outside every time. We got peeks at the aurora borealis the second night between the clouds. Stunning! Good, central location for southern Lofoten with food and grocery store nearby.

Everything! What a location looking right up the fjord! Yes, you have to bend over in the loft bedroom but this just adds to the experience- a real Rorbuer.Drnks on our lovely sunny deck each afternoon looking st the beautiful scenery, Easy oarking, convenient to restaurants, quiet, private, had everything we needed, great atmosphere- our favourite accommodation in Norway after 6 weeks of travelling. Spectacular outlook, washing machine, warm…what more could you want- we loved it.

Nothing we didn’t like but some darker curtains in bedroom could enhance experience when 23 hrs of daylight…not that it bothered us.

The best place to stay in the beautiful reine village region

The location of this place was the best...just a few steps from bus stop oleniyosa...though it was a bit far from reine main town, but we didn't regret it at all...we stayed for a day and cooked our own food in well equipped kitchen in the rorbuer. Everything was just perfect...the host was very very good...I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know ...

A great experience of living in an old fisherman´s cabin in Lofoten!

The views - perfect! Very homey. Sufficient kitchen utensils. Good clothing washing machine & drying rack. Convenient parking spot right next to the cabin.

The curtains in the window of the main bedroom are totally inadequate to stop the light (midnight sun). This was a big challenge for us to sleep. This could be easily be solved by the owner.....

The accommodation was fantastic: an old and charasteristic building, a rowboat tied to the ceiling, great views and a nice own balcony. You could maybe go swimming during high tide but the water was too low when we were there. Check in was without contact.

The directions we got with the key could've included an exact address to put in Google Maps. That would help a lot. We were asked to clean the House and wash our dishes, which was okay but with this Price per night I think it could be included to the cleaning service after one does the check out. Just My opinion.

the location is the best feature. You get to stay in a place that looks like it only exists in fantasy books. The cabin is comfy, fully equipped and the bed is very comfortable.

One very minor detail that wouldn’t really affect your stay but could improve is the map that is given with your key. it could have some better directions but is really a very small detail.
