This location is private, wonderful views, good walking. Location is close to the rest of the Lofoten but far enough away that it was quiet. It has everything you need, including a dryer-a rare thing in Norway. The kitchen was large and well arranged for cooking.

The stairs could use a full handrail since they are very steep and narrow. The handrail only goes halfway down.

A charming cottage nicely furnished. Excellent kitchen, well equipped. Some reviews comment on the more rustic bedrooms upstairs. Yes they are not as modern as downstairs but they are fine and relate to the original history and character of the cottage rather than detracting.

It was a wonderful house in a beautiful setting and very clean and comfortable.

Amazingly beautiful spot in a quiet remote valley. House had everything you needed. Saw lots of wildlife. Dark Skys to view the Aurora. Very private and comfortable.

Parking was difficult they had so much snow and did not plow out the parking space.

Many review writes that the house needs some renovation. Partly true, but the main living area is fresh and comfortable. And if you beleive these recommendations, you will miss the chance to enjoy this breathtaking view, and one of the best spots in this area. So we really think it's simply wort it. This place is amazing. We've loved it so much, we are sure we will come back in the summer. Can't imagine how nice can it be, when all is green.

Great spot in Lofoten with beautiful views

Spacious, comfortable house in a great location, off the beaten track and quiet, amazing location on the Selfjord with awesome views from rooms and dining table. Wood burning stove was awesome on cool evenings. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. Perfect for a family. Elizabeth was a fabulous host - very responsive with any questions we had.

Though downstairs was very modernised, upstairs was a bit rustic in decor, but still fine and comfortable. It would have been exceptional if there were a couple of kayaks in the boathouse that we could use on the fjord!

Geräumig, schöne Aussicht. Grosse Küche und gemütliche Stube.

Möbel in die Jahre gekommen. Kleines Badezimmer war muffelig. Nicht überall sauber (Spinnennetz und tote Insekte). Preis-Leistung stimmt nicht. Für 420 CHF. pro Nacht (unsere teuerste Übernachtung in Norwegen) sollte man nicht noch alle Betten selbst beziehen müssen.

Tutto! La casa è stupenda e ideale per un vacanza di famiglia o con gruppo di amici (fino a 8 persone ci si sta comodamente), i dintorni sono meravigliosi! La casa è attrezzata di tutto il necessario per trascorrere dei bei giorni di vacanza.

Avrei preferito capire prima dall'annuncio come fossero dislocate le varie stanze: ci sono due bagni, uno completo e uno sprovvisto di wc; vi un altro wc nel seminterrato. Le camere da letto sono 3 in casa e una in depadance, quindi è necessario uscire dalla casa principale per andare a dormire.
