Reine Panorama

i booked the single family house for my family group of four for two days in august. i was hesitant then since there was no rating on booking.com. i figured it was a new listing and took the risk. i was lucky. it is a gem. location is perfect much better than those expensive rorbuers around. this is situated on a hill directly facing reine and the reinebringen mountains. it’s huge bay windows on second floor living room is perfect picture. the house was recently sold and renovated. everything is new. i couldn’t be more happy with the condition. the only issue i found was in few places the lights were not yet working. but it is fine. i have been traveling in lofoten/senja area for almost two weeks, this stay made my trip. i love it.

The Panorama views are stunning. We really enjoyed hanging out in the common areas, with stunning views and comfortable seating. The table has chairs for 8. The host was very responsive (we had the hot water heater go out on us, and he had electricians fixing it within 4 hours). Since we were a party of 4, the 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, and one with a tub) worked out perfectly for us. We only used 2 of the many bedrooms, and the kitchen was great (one of our meals was home cooked). It is very convenient to the town / village and a "Co op" grocery store is just a block away!

These were not a big deal, but if you are reading this review and planning to stay here, it is something to be aware of once you are there.: ~ There is a thermostat device on the wall. This does not seem to do anything. The heater thermostat is instead a remote control. ~ If you start the dishwasher and water is not running, there is a valve at the stem of the kitchen faucet (tap). Be sure it is in the open position to allow water to the dishwasher.
