Not the idyllic place we expected

Cozy, good location. Small, cute house that generally is good value for the money. However, negative experience hit us almost immediately and the host didnt respond neither booking.com messages or direct sms. Thus this review will be based on our actual experience.

1) The house is listed as pet friendly. I brought my dog. There was already a dog at the property area, no leash, seemed friendly and used to being unleashed in this property. I parked the car next to cabin (dog roaming around in main house and garden area). I took my dog out of the car and this dog attacked mine (small yorkie) immediately. I texted the property but no respons (we stayed wed-thu, today is fri). 2) Bathroom is tiny as expected, hard to change clothes so the main room is ideal for that. However, there was a bunch of tourists with tripods and cameras filming and taking photos of the house shortly after we arrived. Curtains missing at main door and two windows making both changing and general privacy very hard and awkward with all these tourists right outside. Host didnt respons so I had to do som DIY curtains. Good thing I did because the tourists went on for atleast 30 mins (not discretly taking a quick shot but tripod running film based on the recording light, new angles and positions etc). 3) The bed is ideal for one person, or two tiny people. The space between bed and ceiling is very small on the sides.

Very cozy small cottage in a beautiful part of the world and a short drive to other iconic towns.

Lovely, quiet, standalone small house. Clean, with decent kitchen facilities and enough for a cozy stay in the area. A short drive to Reine and other surrounding towns. Great view of the town and mountains.

It is well advertised so we were well aware, but to make it clear for others, this is a very small cottage. Shower is small but manageable. Bed is up a ladder and very little headroom. Perhaps removing the sitting area chairs and table would afford room for a bed on the ground floor instead? Again, this is very well advertised so no major complaints here, just be aware of what you are booking and you will be ok.

Ideal for a solo traveler, unbeatable view

You cannot beat the location: the view is breathtaking. The villa is located outside of the busy Reine and the island itself is lovely. The house is small, but we found everything we needed for recharging batteries after amazing hikes in the area.

The ceiling over the bed is very low, making it a little claustrophobic and hard to turn if you´re a couple staying there. I would have appreciated to have a spare mattress to be placed on the floor in the living room.

Small but great place!

Awesome MINI villa at a perfect location in Reine, stunning view from the cosy cottage. Has everything you need for 2 people. You have to be a little flexible to get in bed, but the matras is great. Absolutely great place to stay.

Nothing, the only thing you need to keep in mind is that the shower can run out of hot water because it's a boiler.

Cute and cozy stay at Minivilla

The Minivilla was very cozy and small, it was perfect for a one night stay, but we could even do more days. The bathroom was super clean and well equipped so as the kitchen. All good!

There was a super small space in the “bedroom” - space just right under the ceiling. I kept punching myself whenever turning around during sleeping, but that is nothing that would change my mind about how fantastic this stay was. I am just letting you know that if you’re tall/big, you’d need to be even more careful i guess!

Beautiful location! Cozy vibes!

The mini villa is cozy and well-appointed with everything we needed to cook for two nights. The location has spectacular views, some of the best we saw throughout the trip! They’re so incredible that there’s a bit of foot traffic around the villa throughout the day with people photographing the views. This didn’t bother us! It’s just something to keep in mind if one is looking for a more remote location.

The villa is mini (as advertised) and this includes the ceilings. My husband is 6’4 and was hitting his head here and there. Honestly, he’s a beautiful giant so it’s nice to see him knocked down a peg. It was more funny to us than it was problematic but others may care more than we did.

Simply the best place to stay in Lofoten !

"Wow" ! That was our initial thought when we first got there. The place was sooo cozy and beautiful. It has everything you need, a comfortable bed and couch, great kitchen and bathroom, it is perfectly located in calm & peaceful area surrounded by fjords - ideal for resting or nice walks / hikes. Everything was super clean and well organized, and you"ll even have an amazing view from your window :D If we ever visit Lofoten Islands again, we will definitely want to stay here again ! ^^ Many thanks for having us, and hats off for the amazing place and decoration :) Fya & Nassim

Perfect for a couple

Cozy little cabin in a perfect location. Nice to stay in in case of bad weather and away from the town and external light sources for watching northern lights. The hosts are super nice and responded quickly to everything.

the views are great 10/10 as well the overall property is very nice. Not more than 5 minutes drive from a grocery store which is nice.

the bed is extremely tight and was pretty uncomfortable for 2 people as well it was a little difficult to go down the ladder in the middle of the night. As well it would be nice if there was a proper table for eating. Other then those 2 things it was all positive.

Well-equipped little cozy house

The house is well-equipped, small kitchen where you make food, there are coffee machine and kettle which I can make hot drinks. Bathroom has shampoo, conditional, body lotion. The rocking chair is comfy.

Might be good if can provide hair dryer. The hot water runs out in the end if you were to take a longer shower. The bed upstairs is just nice for one person but I feel it will be quite squeeze if were to fit two people.

The interior is very pretty and cozy looking, the location is quite good and for a good price. The check in and check out was super easy and flexible.

It wasn't extremely clean on some "hidden" spots, such as the sides of the mattress and the rugs. But clean overall.

Dreams-come-true-house !!!

The house is absolutely charming, like in a fairytale! Comfortable armchairs, nice kitchen with everything you need, clean bathroom, outdoor furniture… Amazing views!! Jazz music as you open the door and tiny fireplace waiting for you… I was amused by the cozy atmosphere inside and outside! I now want my own house like this!!!

I arrived a little early and I could meet the owner who handed me the keys. Although the Mini Villa is really tiny, it is very cute, and it has all what was needed for my two-night stay. Its location is perfect, very close to many sights (Reine, A, Reinebringen trail, Hamnoy, the ferry in Moskenes,...)

Staff was very helpful and answered very quickly. Cabin was clean and modern. Just a perfect for a couple for a short stay.

It came as suprise that the dried fish heads were so close to the cabin, so the smell was quite fishy, so to say.

The owner was super helpful for us! We got another cabin (which was wonderful and with the best window view I ever had) where they didnt have any guests that time so we could check in much earlier :) I can recommend in 100% and hope to come back one day!
