I could daydream the whole day looking at mountain range in front of the rorbuer

Absolutely beautiful and quiet corner, yet easy to find it just next to the main road. Cosy, and comfortable, it had everything needed for a short stay. Warm even in sub-zeros, and the bath water pressure was great. The kitchen was very useful especially since we stayed over the Christmas holiday where everywhere was closed.

Adorable rorbu in perfect location with lovely personal touches throughout

Looked exactly like the posting but even better. This is an adorable unit with many nice amenities. We booked at the midpoint of our trip so looked for somewhere with a washing machine. It’s too bad drying is via a rack but it worked. The location and views from the unit are amazing. The owners seem to care about their guests experience. The small touches all around the unit make it comfortable and homey rather than a sterile AirBnB. We loved that there were various coffee and tea making equipment. We opted for the French press but there was a Nespresso and Espresso style machine too. Plus an electric kettle. You could easily stay here and cook with adequate utensils and equipment. The only exception is there doesn’t seem to be soup or cereal spoons…only demitasse size spoon. Very impressed overall and would definitely stay again.

The shower is typical European … small, however, the shower head is diverted to the side rather than centered which was a little awkward. Also, there was no bath mat for the tile floor for after showering. We used a hand towel instead. Personally, I didn’t care for the porporri scent in the unit but didn’t find it particularly offensive. And my last nit-picky comment is that it would have been nice to have streaming channels logged in on the TV, especially given Netflix new policy. We didn’t want to log into our personal account so TV options were limited.

Exceptional

Cabin was Well prepared and heated Prior our arrival. High Quality interior Well designed with good taste, completed by small nice items. We enjoyed the running electrical fireplace for cosy Atmosphere as we arrived during heavy snowfall. I highly recommend this Location to honour the Work and burden Marta and the Carl Fredrik Team Put in this little Jewel. By the way , we stayed at the cabin called Thesenbua
