This place was fantastic! Studio apartment was nice a good size but yet nice and cozy. Nice comfy chairs to sit on. Lots of natural light but blinds/curtains for the bright nights. Was very well equipped. Reception staff and housekeeping staff all very friendly and helpful. Could not beat the location and views. Perfect for exploring the area. We didn't use the jacuzzi or the saunas (both extra cost) but lots of people were. There was a nice seating area out the front on the water, perfect for having a drink or reading a book. One of our favourite stays.

Not a lot of room for suitcases but that seemed common in Norway and you make it work!

Views, rooms and most of all the hospitality.

It was a privilege to stay in an iconic rorbu and we enjoyed our two nights. We had a look at the rival property opposite ( much photographed eg cover of Lonely Plant Norway guide ) and we think that our choice here was better. The hut was cosy and was reasonably well equipped. The kitchen is small and there is just enough equipment to make simple meals. Amazing views from the chairs by the windows. We paid to use the jacuzzi with a view on our first evening and enjoyed the views all around. We were not brave enough for the sauna with the dip into the ocean ( complete with stinger jellyfish) but many people did use it. We were a short distance from Reine and A by car. We also did some local walking as far as Anita’s restaurant and took photos despite the rainy weather. The receptionist was lovely, a friendly person and so helpful. We charged our EV overnight which was a great help.

It’s totally a great and stunning stay we have in Lofoten! The location is so great that it is just 20mins away from A, few minutes away from Anitas seafood, walkable to hamnoy bridge, and Coop just 5mins drive away. Importantly is the room! It’s a 2-floor cabin (Tyrrfisk brygga). You dont need worry to carry your big heavy luggage because the bedrooms are at the ground floor. The kitcen and living hall are at 2nd floor which provide you very stunning view with the sun roof. The kitchenette and cutlery are in very good condition. Everything is so spick and span! It’s quite pricey but definitely worth the price. PS: the staff is so friendly and helpful.
